It’s not about what architecture is, it’s about what architecture does.

About us

Ellivo's core purpose is to change the world through inspired design, spaces and experiences. Ellivo Architects are experienced multi-residential, commercial, and mixed use Architects who have been working together with our local and national clients since 1998. We are passionate about design, creative with the use of space, and focused on achieving a viable balance between development and architectural outcomes. We use intelligent 3D technologies to deliver our services, helping clients, stakeholders and service providers understand the complex ideas, sites and spatial arrangements that we design. We pride ourselves on “designing success” whereby the success embedded in the Architectural design includes being financially viable, and socially and environmentally sustainable. We consider the design fundamentals to include flexibility for future growth and change with little impact, and combine this with understanding commercial reality and design innovation.

  • Thank you to everyone who joined us with ULI Australia to explore the opportunities and challenges of modern methods of construction. Modular construction offers faster delivery, fewer contingencies, material savings, improved quality, and a more inclusive workforce. To truly embed these methods, the industry must evolve its tools and processes, treating modular as a mainstream approach rather than something special. A key theme was the importance of considered upfront design, much like automotive manufacturing, precision and planning must come before fabrication begins. From a financial perspective, solving the modular challenge is critical to building a sustainable path forward for Australia’s housing crisis. Standardisation, repeatable systems, and real world demonstrator projects will be essential in building industry confidence and achieving commercial success, moving ‘Modular’ towards business as usual, an overarching priority of the panel members. Thank you to moderator Julie Saunders and panel speakers Warren Ebert, Nick Economidis, Andrey S. and Chris Knapp for sharing their insights, and to all who joined us for this conversation.

  • PIPIS // Located at Bilinga on the Gold Coast, Pipis, is now complete.   The ultimate in beachfront living, Pipis is an exclusive collection of 17 half-floor residences and two double-storey penthouses, each with uninterrupted coastal views.   Drawing inspiration from the sculptured dunes that frame this idyllic coastal setting, the design is expressed as a series of horizontally stacked forms, broken up by green breaks and floor-to-ceiling glazing. The result is articulated, light-dappled interiors that blur the line between home and horizon.   Pipis delivers a suite of high-end lifestyle amenities, including a 15m heated lap pool and sun lounge deck, fully equipped gymnasium, and an outdoor rain shower with dog wash to rinse off the sand. With direct access to the beach and ocean bike pathway, residents are connected to everything the Gold Coast has to offer.   Developer: SIERA Photography: Andy Macpherson Traditional Owners: Yugambeh and Bundjalung people
