Virtual Object:
virtual object is an object that is recognized by QTP as non-standard but is instructed
explicitly by the tester to behave like a standard object.

Step1: Click on Tools.

Step2: Click on Virtual Objects

Step3: Click on New Virtual Object.
Step4: Virtual Object Wizard will be populated read the instructions carefully and click on Next button.
Step5:Select the standard class that resembles your virtual object.
Step6: Click on Next button.

Step7: Mark the Object by clicking on Mark Object button.

In this scenario I have marked as Sign In button as a Virtual Object in the Gmail Sign-in page. Please find
the below attachment for the same.
Step8:Click on next button and Object Configuration window will be displayed.
Step9:Click on Finish button and the Object will saved.

Step10: We can be able to see the Object in the Virtual Object Manger(Select Tools > Virtual Objects >
Virtual Object Manager to open Virtual Object Manager).

Virtual Object Manager: Virtual object manager is a feature provided by QTP which is used for creating
and managing the virtual objects. Once a virtual object is created it will be available to all the tests
unless until we delete it.
