Solving the C20K problem: Raising the bar in PHP Performance and Scalability

It discusses how the Oracle 11g Database Resident Connection Pool (DRCP) allows PHP applications to connect to the database in a way that supports tens of thousands of concurrent connections using minimal system resources.
