PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS INDICATES THAT TRADITIONAL THIRD-ORDER EFFECTS COULD CAUSE THE TELESCOPE TO EXCEED ESTABLISHED PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS. THIS LEADS TO VERY LARGE DETAILED MODELS. PRIMARILY SINCE COMPOSITE TUBES ARE BEING MODELED USING SOLID ELEMENTS.
