Pride Professionals’ Post

🌈 2025 Perth Pride Professionals Mentoring Program Launch 🌈 We are thrilled to welcome our new cohort of mentors and mentees to the 2025 Perth Pride Professionals Mentoring Program. This inspiring group is ready to connect, share knowledge, and create meaningful change, and we cannot wait to see the impact they will make over the year ahead. A big thank you to IGO Ltd for hosting both our orientations and the launch event. IGO has been a Gold and Event Sponsor since 2021, and we deeply value their ongoing commitment to visible allyship and mentoring. We were warmly welcomed by Matthew Spagnolo, General Manager Enterprise Projects at IGO, who shared his leadership journey and spoke about the importance of inclusion, allyship, and the role of mentoring in building stronger, more diverse organisations. We were also joined by Andrew Hall JP, CEO of Perth Inner City Youth Service (PICYS), who helped us introduce the PICYS Legacy Project, our 2025 charity initiative. This partnership aims to raise $400,000+ by November 2025 to purchase a two-bedroom unit that will become part of the PICYS Household Network, a broader program providing safe, affirming, and supported housing for LGBTQIA+ young people experiencing homelessness. The unit will provide a secure home for two to four vulnerable young people each year, creating sustainable and long-lasting change.
