M&A agreements: 60 hours to minutes. Here’s how AI is changing how legal work gets done in M&A: In my recent conversation with Syeda Nazifa Nawroj, a Silicon Valley-based M&A attorney and author of Sell Your Startup, we explored how Artificial Intelligence is transforming her law practice. Syeda makes it clear. AI isn't replacing legal strategy or human judgment. But it is raising the bar for speed and efficiency. A few takeaways from the podcast: ↳ AI has reduced contract turnaround from 60 hours to a fraction of that time ↳ It can search historical clauses across databases in 3 seconds instead of 3 hours ↳ It is enabling firms to offer fixed pricing for repeatable legal work ↳ But strategy, issue spotting, and client service are still very human tasks This is not about cutting corners. It is about using the right tools for the right tasks. For founders and operators thinking about M&A, this shift could make legal work faster and more streamlined.
