Directly on the facade of an iconic building in Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul state), the Brazilian city where Gerdau was born, the historic Red Bull Building Drop structure has a base made with 50 tons of 100% recyclable Gerdau steel. We’re proud to have successfully delivered a key phase of Gerdau’s Itabiritos project. Our Pipelines team designed a slurry pipeline from the Miguel Burnier plant to the Ouro Branco mill, and a tailings pipeline from Miguel Burnier to the Sardinha filtration plant — providing technical support throughout construction. This project represents an important step toward reducing truck traffic and minimising environmental impact. We marked the delivery with an operations workshop alongside the Gerdau team, reinforcing our shared commitment to sustainable, efficient solutions. #FindABetterWay

Big projects need big power! 💪 Cometto has just delivered a new 6-axle Eco1000, featuring four driven axles and an 85 kW Power Pack Unit, in a special color to Sormec, the Italian leader in marine, offshore and life-saving cranes, based in Sicily. 🇮🇹 The vehicle will support production operations at their plant – combining compact design, high precision and strong performance for internal logistics tasks. ⚙️ The Eco1000 stands out with its electronic steering system, offering maximum maneuverability even in confined spaces. Its smart operation system and fast mobility process make the vehicle a popular choice for in-plant heavy haul operations. We mark another important milestone in Lamborghini’s decarbonization journey. At our Sant’Agata Bolognese site, we have completed the new expansion of the photovoltaic system. The new rooftop installation at our logistics center adds more than 4,000 panels over an area of 12,000 square meters, generating an additional 2.89 million kWh per year and reducing CO₂ emissions by around 1,200 tons annually. This achievement comes in a symbolic year for us: 2025 celebrates ten years since our production site became carbon neutral on balance.
