This EY report highlights the crucial gap between AI adoption (88%) and strategic impact (28%). From an I/O Psychology standpoint, this isn't a technology problem; it's a Talent Advantage and Organizational Effectiveness challenge. Here are the key tensions I'm seeing with my clients that explain that 60-point delta: • Mindset over Toolset: Too many organizations deploy AI tools without first establishing a culture of psychological safety where employees feel comfortable experimenting, failing, and truly integrating AI into their workflows. Without this, AI adoption becomes a compliance exercise, not a transformative advantage. • The "Bring Your Own AI" Paradox: While consumer AI tools drive usage, they often bypass organizational governance, security, and knowledge management systems. The solution isn't stricter bans; it's proactive I/O design to channel that innate employee curiosity into safe, sanctioned platforms that align with strategic goals and learning pathways. Ultimately, achieving that Transformative Business Impact requires a systematic approach to change management and learning design. #IOpsychology #FutureofWork #AITransformation #OrganizationalDesign

I’m trying to understand why the value add appears low. Learning and integrating new tools typically requires substantial effort, so I would have expected a higher ROI. Could you share what factors contributed to the scoring?

Companies can create their own AI tools to protect their databases and ensure they are tailored to their specific needs, in addition to investing in their employees to train them on how to use these tools.

In My Point Of View :- AI Prompt Engineering is now a must-have skill for any employee or corporate individual. It's not that it's a completely technical or completely non-technical approach but it's important to know the technology that can help you in a better way. AI won't harm your skills. If you are already skillful with your own knowledge or expertise, you can elevate even more with AI. The real power lies in the combination your capacity + AI's capability = best results. Looking at this report, while 88% are using AI, most are stuck at basic tasks. This is exactly why setting a goal to be in the top 1% of AI tool users is a very smart move for your career. Those who bridge this gap will lead the future. #AI #ShapeTheFutureWithConfidence #FutureOfWork #CareerGrowth
