🚀 💻 Is your website architecture holding you back? The terms "multisite" and "microsite" might sound similar, but they're built for completely different purposes. Knowing which one is right for your business can be a game-changer for scalability and marketing effectiveness. 📊 📈 In our latest blog, we're demystifying these two web development concepts: -Multisite: A single, centralized platform for managing a network of related websites (think universities or large corporations). - Microsite: A small, standalone site built for a single, focused marketing campaign or event. Ever tried to update a button link and somehow broken half your site? Or edited a heading, only to realise your navbar is now in your footer? That kind of inconsistency is one of the main reasons clients come to me for a rebuild. Most started on WordPress or Squarespace, and the site was great on launch. But over time, it became a patchwork of small fixes that were easy to break and hard to maintain. That’s where Webflow (and especially Webflow components) completely change the experience. Components aren’t just reusable blocks; they’re connected systems. When I build a site in Webflow, every section, button, and layout starts as a component. Need to drop in a pre-existing component and it just works? ✅ Do it. Need to update a heading on one page but keep the layout? ✅ Do that too. Need to tweak the layout, theme, or button style for a one-off landing page? ✅ Go ahead. It means: 🚀 Faster development ✏️ A consistent design system 🤝 A smooth handoff, where clients can safely make updates without worrying about breaking anything Every project I take on starts with this foundation, built on the incredible Lumos framework pioneered by Timothy Ricks. It keeps development efficient, design consistent, and clients in control, ie not reliant on a developer for every small change. Nothing excites me more than long-term partnerships with clients, but I’m even more passionate about doing more business-changing work post-launch: optimising, refining, and evolving the website over time. Some sites are built to keep clients around because using them isn’t intuitive. It's like selling a car with a bunch of hidden issues and you can't get the bonnet open – the garage is bound to get a bit more labour out of you. I build websites with the opposite mindset: Has the client got everything they need to dive right in and start updating copy, images and editing the CMS? (usually in the form of training videos) 📽️ If I died tomorrow, could the client maintain it? 😀 And would the project cost cover the funeral? 💀 If your current platform feels fragile or hard to maintain, a rebuild in Webflow might be the most sustainable long-term move you can make. #webflow #webdesign #nocode #designsystems #components

True story: A prospect just saved $24,000 on their website rebuild. The old quote: $24K/year for hosting, security, and content updates. What they’ll pay now: $470/year with Webflow. Here’s what happened: They came to us for a website rebuild and asked about hosting, security, and update fees. We told them: “It’s all on Webflow — you don’t have to pay us.” Then they shared their “complex” requirements: 1. Website security 2. Adding products weekly 3. Mobile-first design 4.SEO optimization 5. CMS for blogs and case studies A traditional agency priced that at $2,000/month (that’s $24K/year). Webflow hosting? $470/year. But here’s the real kicker: Updates that used to take weeks now happen in hours. Changes that cost hundreds are now free — and can be handled by the marketing team. Features they once “couldn’t afford” now come standard. The myth: “Custom coding = better websites.” The reality: ✅ 95% of website features already exist in Webflow ✅ Zero maintenance headaches ✅ Instant Content changes ✅ Built-in hosting & security Why pay $24K for what you can get for $470/year? Smart businesses aren’t coding websites anymore. They’re designing them. 👉 Tag a friend still overpaying for web development. #WebDevelopment #Webflow #NoCode #BusinessGrowth

Your business is unique. Shouldn’t your website be, too? While templates can get you online quickly, they often look the same as everyone else’s. That’s where Custom Website Development comes in. Why go custom? 1️⃣ Tailored to Your Brand – Every pixel reflects your identity. 2️⃣ Scalable – Built to grow as your business grows. 3️⃣ Better Performance – Optimized for speed, security, and SEO. 4️⃣ Seamless Integrations – CRM, eCommerce, booking systems — whatever you need. 5️⃣ Future-Proof – No template limits. Just flexibility. A custom website isn’t an expense. It’s an investment in credibility, customer experience, and conversions. In today’s digital-first world, your website is often the first impression. Make sure it’s unforgettable. If budget wasn’t a barrier, what’s the one feature you’d add to your website today? #ahmeddigitals #website #figma #wordpress #shopify #javascript #html #css #squarespace #wix #php #python #webdesign #webdesigner #webdev #webdevelopment

🧠 “Behind every great website, there’s a strategy — not just code.” Whenever I start a new project, I don’t dive straight into design or plugins. I start with understanding the business. Here’s my simple 4-step approach 👇 1️⃣ Discovery – Learn about the client’s goals, audience, and competitors. 2️⃣ Planning – Map out structure, user flow, and key conversion points. 3️⃣ Design & Development – Build something that’s not only beautiful but functional. 4️⃣ Testing & Optimization – Make sure everything loads fast, works perfectly, and delivers results. Every project is different — but one thing stays the same: I treat each website like it’s my own brand going online for the first time. Because when you build with passion and precision, it shows. #WordPress #WebDevelopment #WebDesign #BusinessGrowth #WebsiteDevelopment #CustomWebsites #FrontEndDevelopment #BackEndDevelopment #DeveloperLife #DigitalTransformation #BusinessSolutions #TechSkills #WordPressDeveloper

Things we develop for clients, that nobody use in WP Over the last 3 years 20+ digital agencies trusted website development for their clients and some things we've built - nobody uses These things increase amount time required for: 1. Development 2. QA 3. Client's education 4. Maintenance Here are few examples: - Complicated individual component options Nobody uses them, really. If you feel custom themes have lack of settings comparing to Elementor - that's fine. These sections are already developed to match the design and have limited options for most cases you'll need. - Making Archives editable from the backend with flexible fields You won't be editing them, your clients will not, just trust me based on 300 websites we've built These things can add 2x time and budget to the "basic" builds, which will be as good as this one. Complexity burns hours Simplicity builds margin

When building websites in Webflow, I use the Client-First naming system for classes. This keeps everything clean, organized, and easy to manage — both for me and for anyone else who works on the site later. It helps with scalability, faster edits, and smoother collaboration, so projects stay professional and future-proof. #webflow #clientFirst #developer

Your website’s biggest performance killer in 2025 isn’t your hosting, your code, or your design. It’s your CMS architecture. ➤ 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 “𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐝” 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬: ⤷ Compressing images ⤷ Upgrading servers ⤷ Caching plugins Sure, those help. But here’s the truth: your website stack can silently steal 20–30% of your speed, SEO, and conversions. 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞: A traditional WordPress setup stuffed with plugins and heavy themes = digital quicksand. Even if your content is light, the bloat drags everything down. ➤ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞? 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐌𝐒 (𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 + 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭/𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭.𝐣𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝). ✅ Faster load times ✅ Keep your familiar WordPress dashboard ✅ Ditch the theme/plugin clutter ➤ 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: 1️⃣ Google’s Core Web Vitals just got stricter slow sites sink. 2️⃣ AI personalization needs a lightning-fast frontend. 3️⃣ User patience is basically zero. (53% bounce if your page takes >3s.) Design gets you attention. Architecture gets you conversions. Together, they turn your site into a business asset not just digital décor. P.S. Curious if your site is secretly bleeding speed (and money)? Drop “HEADLESS” below and I’ll DM you my 5-point audit checklist to spot hidden performance killers.

Speaking with a client yesterday who's rebranding early next year - bit of a name change, bit of design/ visual change. And every web agency they're speaking to is proposing a CMS change at the same time 🫤 👇 I advised them to try answer these questions internally first - ▶️ Is the current CMS broken, a mess of legacy debt and things stacked on shaky foundations? ▶️ Do the product / marketing team need to enlist a dev to make minor changes to the site? ▶️ Are the devs and CTO concerned about the current system - security, stability, speed? ▶️ Are there a bunch of features and modules desired that just can't be done currently? Whether it was Webflow, the latest low-code / no-code platform, a headless solution (all of which had been proposed to them) - the question is still <do you actually need this and is it enough of a tangible reason and improvement at the end to justify a bigger $$$ investment, longer timeline and more risk of things going wrong>?
