NAP Opt-in is a voluntary assessment program for year 6 and year 10 students, giving schools the option to assess learning in three key areas beyond literacy and numeracy: • science literacy • civics and citizenship • ICT literacy These assessments are informed by the Australian Curriculum and give schools extra insight into how students are progressing. Participation is completely optional and there is no cost for schools.
