#COP30 is just one week away! Airbus is partnering with Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance (SABA) to promote sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for those traveling to the #COP30 in Belém. This initiative is based on the purchase of SAF certificates, which enable COP30 attendees to contribute to overall SAF demand through verified purchases of SAF somewhere in the world, even if there is no SAF available for their own flight. This is called a ‘Book & Claim’ mechanism. Airbus will match the number of SAF certificates purchased by COP30 attendees via the SABA platform, up to a committed volume that is equivalent to approximately 500 round-trip flights between Lisbon and Belém. This innovative approach uses SAF sourced from SkyNRG Learn more and see how you can purchase a SAF certificate: https://lnkd.in/eEbnt96C
Airbus Great initiative! The Book & Claim model is an effective way to boost global SAF adoption—well done Airbus,
Hi, I’m currently studying MSc Energy and Sustainable Development at DMU. I’m interested in early careers/internship opportunities in sustainability or energy transition roles. Could I please ask if there are current internship programmes open?
Great example of leadership in sustainability. At BLASQEM, we value initiatives like this that drive innovation and help reduce emissions across the entire industrial chain. 🌍👏
👏 👏
Aircraft are not saving CO2 Only less travel is saving CO2 Each person can do it or not
Good luck
👀Sehr gespannt auf das Ergebnis 💪🏽
