The new version of the Peppol Authority Specific Requirements of Finland have been published. The requirements are relevant for Peppol Service Providers who have Finnish end users as customers. The changes were mostly editorial and we tried to make the rules easier to understand. The only real change was the removal of the reporting requirement of statistics since that is now done centraly by OpenPeppol. Finland does not have an accreditation process for Peppol-service providers, but you still need to follow the country specific rules. We have requirements regarding: - The indentifiers of Finnish end users - Mandatory usage of centralised SMP for public sector end user organisations - SLA requirements for cases when service providers are changed - Requirements for the KYC-process - Recommendation for ISO27001 certification The exact details can be found from the OpenPeppol Confluence page. Remember phone books? Not being listed didn’t mean someone didn’t have a phone. Same goes for Peppol. Just because a company isn’t in the Peppol Directory doesn’t automatically mean they can’t receive e-invoices. Some organisations choose not to be listed publicly, but they can still receive Peppol documents if properly registered with their Access Point. Some Peppol SMP providers do not have a Peppol Directory integration or there can sometimes be delays in the data transfer between SMP and Peppol Directory. Curious about more common Peppol misconceptions? Read our blog: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dR72BwPr

In the fifth and final episode of our five-part electronic Settlement Matching (eSM) video series, our CEO Dr. Jens Bartenschlager and Operations Committee Secretary at Energy Traders Europe Stuart Beeston discuss how market participants and vendors can actively support interoperability. They explore how interoperability goes beyond technology and is a commercial principle that should be part of every contract, ensuring openness, flexibility, and real choice instead of vendor lock-in. Market participants and vendors alike have a role to play: demanding, delivering, and maintaining open standards to keep the market fair, innovative, and competitive. 🎥 Watch the video to learn more. 🗓️ Register for our upcoming Fidectus webinar on eSM, eInvoicing, and interoperability here: https://lnkd.in/dTJdCs-y
