Transfer data from a single-user Sales Navigator subscription to a corporate Sales Navigator account

Sales Navigator users with a single-user personal Sales Navigator Core or Advanced subscription purchased online can transfer data to an Advanced or Advanced Plus corporate account. This process is called a self-serve data transfer as it can be completed online once the corporate license is activated.

Transferring data involves moving the leads, accounts, searches, and notes between Sales Navigator account or subscription dashboards. Some information is not transferrable between dashboards. The self-serve data transfer process can only be performed if the admin on the corporate account has enabled the self-serve option. Your personal Sales Navigator subscription is cancelled as part of the self-serve data transfer process.

Important to know

Once the data transfer process is initiated, it can take up to 48 hours to complete. A data transfer is an overwrite process where any existing data on the destination dashboard is replaced with new data. A data transfer might not be reversible. LinkedIn isn’t responsible if the data transfer can’t be reversed.

To transfer data from a single-user Sales Navigator subscription to a corporate account:

  1. Activate the corporate license provided by your organization in your onboarding email. The system will detect if a self-serve transfer is available. If it's available, you’re prompted to confirm if you would like to transfer your data.

    Here's a tip

    If the self-serve option is enabled on your corporate account, you can also use this self-serve data transfer link to complete the data transfer process. 

  2. Click Yes, Transfer my data.

  3. When prompted to choose between your personal Sales Navigator subscription and your corporate Sales Navigator account, select the corporate account to proceed. At this point, you might need to sign out and sign in again to LinkedIn.

  4. Review the transfer-related information, and if you agree, select the I agree and accept Data Transfer agreement checkbox.

  5. Click Transfer all data. You can view the process of transferring your individual Sales Navigator data over to your new corporate license.

    Important to know

    Transferring will delete and overwrite any data that you've already saved on the corporate dashboard.

  6. You'll receive a message indicating your transfer is complete, and you can begin using Sales Navigator by clicking Go to Sales Navigator.

  7. If you'd like to cancel your personal Sales Navigator subscription, select the checkbox next to Cancel my online Sales Navigator Core subscription (optional) before proceeding to Sales Navigator.

Results

  • The subsequent page displays information about your cancellation date. 
  • You will receive a cancellation email.

Moving from a personal subscription to a corporate account?

If you cancel your personal Sales Navigator subscription, you'll retain access through the end of your billing period. If you have an annual subscription, please contact support to review cancellation options.
