Connect Eightfold CRM to Recruiter

Connect Eightfold to LinkedIn Recruiter so you can sync data from your CRM and LinkedIn Recruiter to streamline your hiring process.

Before you begin

Review the following requirements so you can activate CRM Connect in Eightfold. Reach out to your internal IT team for help if needed.

Make sure you’re an admin in LinkedIn Recruiter and Eightfold. You must have a Hiring Project Creator license with admin permission in Recruiter. See Available license and permission types in Recruiter for more information about permissions.
Remember your Recruiter dashboard name and contract ID. To find your dashboard name and ID, move your cursor over the profile photo on your Recruiter homepage.
Use a supported internet browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Chrome.
Use an incognito or private browser window.
Disable any settings that block third-party cookies or cross-site tracking. Reach out to your internal IT team if you need help disabling cookies/tracking.
If you have more than one contract, you need to repeat the steps for each contract.

Important to know

You need to disable third-party (www.linkedin.com) cookie blocking or content blocking for any widgets to render in your browser, regardless of the browser you use.

Step 1: Activate CRM Connect in Eightfold

To activate CRM Connect in Eightfold:

Sign in to Eightfold.
In the upper navigation menu, click on the More tab, and select Admin Console from the dropdown. Follow the instructions below as appropriate for the Sandbox instance or the Production instance.
To activate for the Sandbox instance:
- Within the Admin Console, navigate to Product Setup and then Talent Acquisition.
- Click Customize.
- Click the toggle to Enable LinkedIn CRM Connect.
- Navigate to Integration and then LinkedIn CRM Connect. You are directed to the LinkedIn Integrations onboarding widget. Make sure you are signed in to your LinkedIn Recruiter account.
To activate for the Production instance:
- Within the Admin Console, navigate to Quick Setup, then Talent Acquisition, and then Enable CRM Connect.
- Click the toggle to Enable LinkedIn CRM Connect.
- Navigate to Integration and then LinkedIn CRM Connect. You are directed to the LinkedIn Integrations onboarding widget. Make sure you are signed in to your LinkedIn Recruiter account.

Step 2: Enable CRM Connect in Eightfold

Once you have configured the integration using the steps outlined above, you can enable CRM Connect in Eightfold.

In the LinkedIn Integrations widget, ensure that you have selected the appropriate LinkedIn Recruiter contract.
The LinkedIn Integrations widget will show a list of available integrations. Click the Choose integrations button to enable the selection of available integrations.
Select the checkbox next to CRM Connect, and then click Save changes.

You will see a message indicating that activation is pending. You can leave this screen for now and return later to confirm that activation is completed and historical data is synced.

Once activation is completed, you will see a message indicating that CRM Connect has been activated for the current contract. The setup of the LinkedIn CRM Connect integration will then be complete.
