You can integrate LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC) and ATS-Enabled Reporting with the Workable Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Access the steps below to activate Recruiter System Connect or ATS-Enabled Reporting in Workable.
You can connect your Workable ATS with LinkedIn Recruiter via the LinkedIn onboarding widget so you can access real-time candidate data without switching platforms.
You’ll need to do the following actions, in sequence, to activate RSC in Workable. If you have more than one contract, you'll need to repeat the steps for each contract.

Before you begin
Review the following requirements so you can activate the integration in your ATS. Reach out to your internal IT team for help if needed.
- Make sure you’re an admin in LinkedIn Recruiter and your ATS. You must have a Hiring Project Creator license with admin permission in Recruiter. See Available license and permission types in Recruiter for more information about permissions.
- Remember your Recruiter dashboard name and contract ID. To find your dashboard name and ID, move your cursor over the profile photo on your Recruiter homepage.
- Use a supported internet browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Chrome.
- Use an incognito or private browser window.
- Disable any settings that block third-party cookies or cross-site tracking. Reach out to your internal IT team if you need help disabling cookies/tracking.
- If you have more than one contract, you'll need to repeat the following steps for each contract.
Important to know
Step 1: Activate RSC in Workable
To activate RSC in Workable, follow these required steps as a prerequisite for the integration:
- Sign in to Workable as an Administrator.
- Select LinkedIn from the Integrations section to update its settings.
- Select Setup or view existing LinkedIn integrations. The LinkedIn onboarding widget will open so you can set up the RSC integrations in your Workable ATS.
Step 2: Set up the RSC integrations in Workable
Once you have configured the integration using the steps outlined above, you can activate integrations in one instance, across all packages, within the LinkedIn onboarding widget.
The Recruiter System Connect integration allows you to use Unified Search and Recommended Matches to optimize your candidate searches both within and outside your ATS. Unified Search allows you to search for candidates in your ATS and LinkedIn simultaneously. You can access your ATS’s candidate records that exist outside of LinkedIn and explore LinkedIn outside of your ATS. You can also set up Recommended Matches to discover candidate recommendations based on job descriptions you post in your ATS. Follow the steps below to enable RSC integrations in Workable.

To set up RSC integrations in Workable:

In the LinkedIn onboarding widget, click the Choose integrations button.

Click the checkbox next to Recruiter System Connect to enable Recruiter System Connect.
- Note: ATS-Enabled Reporting is automatically selected by default. You can deselect this if you want to opt out of ATS-Enabled Reporting.

Click Save changes.
- If the connection is taking too long, click Notify ATS to refresh the connection.
Step 3: Enable RSC features in Workable
Important: Before proceeding with the following steps, LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect must be enabled by an administrator on your Workable account. Only one admin needs to enable it for everyone on your account to be able to take advantage of the integration.
If an administrator on your account has already enabled Recruiter System Connect, you may need to connect your personal LinkedIn Recruiter account with Workable to use RSC yourself.
To enable RSC features in Workable:
- Navigate to Settings, then click Integrations, and click Apps.
- Locate and select LinkedIn in the list of job board integrations.
- If there is a need to connect your personal LinkedIn Recruiter account, you will see the Connect your personal LinkedIn Recruiter account message under the Additional Integrations from LinkedIn section.
- Click Connect your personal LinkedIn Recruiter account and sign in to LinkedIn.
- After you log in, refresh your page and the message will disappear. RSC is now activated in Workable.
To export candidates from LinkedIn to a Workable job, you must be a member of the hiring team for that job in Workable.

Step 1: Connect LinkedIn Recruiter to Workable
To activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Workable, follow the steps above to activate RSC, a prerequisite for ATS-Enabled Reporting. If you have already enabled RSC, proceed to Step 2: Activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Workable.
Step 2: Activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Workable
Once you have configured the RSC integration using the steps outlined above, set up ATS-Enabled Reporting following the steps outlined below.
As an admin, you can activate the ATS-Enabled Reporting integration. ATS-Enabled Reporting includes two reports: ATS-Enabled Hiring Funnel report and ATS-Enabled Source report. These reports provide a unified view of cross-platform hiring activity, including insight into hiring funnel stages and industry benchmarks that are only available on LinkedIn. Industry benchmarks help you set hiring goals and understand where you’re performing well and where you can improve.
You can enable the ATS-Enabled reporting integration when you activate RSC and set up the integration with your ATS.
To activate ATS-Enabled Reporting as you set up the integration with your ATS:
- Navigate to the LinkedIn onboarding widget in your ATS and click Choose integrations.
- Click the checkbox next to Recruiter System Connect to enable Recruiter System Connect. (Note: ATS-Enabled Reporting is automatically selected by default. You can deselect this if you want to opt out of ATS-Enabled Reporting.)
- Click Save changes.
To activate ATS-Enabled Reporting in Recruiter after integrating your ATS:
- Move your cursor over your profile on your Recruiter homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown.
- Click ATS integration on the left rail.
- Click Edit next to the ATS you want to activate.
- Under the ATS-Enabled Reporting Settings section, select the Activate Reporting feature for all contracts in your company checkbox.
- Click Save.

If you’re having trouble setting up integrations in Workable, follow these troubleshooting tips:
- Check that you’re an admin for the contract or have authorization to access the LinkedIn dashboard.
- Change your browser settings to accept cookies.
- Clear your cache for both LinkedIn and Workable, and then restart the configuration.
- If you have more than one contract, make sure you complete the steps above for each contract.
