- Use a supported internet browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Chrome.
- Use an incognito or private browser window.

- If you have more than one contract, you'll need to repeat the following steps for each contract.
Important to know
Step 1: Activate RSC in Workday
To activate RSC in Workday:
- Follow the steps in the Workday Admin Guide to make sure you have the right Integrations Systems User permissions in Workday to activate an integration. You’ll need Workday Admin access to view this guide.
- In Workday, launch the Edit Tenant Setup Recruiting task to enable LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect. If you can’t find this task, search in the Workday search bar at the top of the page.
- Click Configure LinkedIn Integrations to initiate the setup.
- Accept the Terms and Conditions agreement.
- Optional: If you would like to set up 1-Click Export, follow the steps in “Set Up Integration System for LinkedIn One-Click Export” section in the Workday Admin Guide.

Step 3: Set up import/export integrations in Workday and Recruiter
Sync data between Workday and Recruiter
Once you see that RSC appears as Activated in your current contract, follow the steps below to set up the import/export integrations so data can sync between Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Note: Every system based on the import template can be configured with only one LinkedIn contract. If you have multiple contracts, you need to create multiple integration systems in Workday and configure each individual system.
Set up export integrations to send data from Workday to Recruiter
If you’ve enabled Recruiter System Connect with Workday, you will need to perform an additional step to sync historical candidate and application data to LinkedIn. To ensure an optimal experience, we strongly recommend syncing a minimum of two years of historical data from Workday to LinkedIn. This ensures that all relevant context on candidates and applications from Workday is made available in LinkedIn Recruiter via RSC features and reports.
For instructions on how to initiate historical data sync from Workday, please refer to Step 4 under "Steps: Set Up Outbound LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect" in the Workday Admin Guide. Note: You’ll need a Workday Community login to access the Workday Admin Guide.
We recommend running this integration on a monthly increment for the initial sync so the sync is performed one month at a time. When the integration is complete, flip to “real time” syncing.
Set up import integrations to send data from Recruiter to Workday
To set up import integrations, follow steps outlined in the Workday Admin Guide under "Set up Inbound LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect Integration".
Once you complete the configuration steps above, RSC is active in Workday and data can now flow between LinkedIn and Workday. Note: If data doesn’t appear to be syncing, make sure to allow time for the data to sync (approximately 20 minutes on average), then check back on activation status.
Test the RSC integration
You may test your RSC integration by following the Testing Recruiter System Connect (RSC) guide. You’ll need to reactivate and reconfigure the RSC integration each time you move from a test environment to another environment (i.e., Preview -> Sandbox –> Production), including from one test environment to another test environment. If you need to test in two Workday test environments at the same time, that is okay; however, before moving to Production tenant in Workday, RSC should be deactivated in all testing environments. Please see the Testing Recruiter System Connect (RSC) guide for more details.
Step 4: View your reports in Workday
To manage your reports in Workday:
- Go to the Configure Profile Group template and add LinkedIn Data for Candidate Profile as your Profile Group, then click OK.
- Select the Display in Profile option.
- To add existing reports, click the
Add button and select Allowed Reports from the dropdown. - Select LinkedIn Profile, then select Allowed Reports, then select InMail History.
