When you sign in to Campaign Manager, you’ll start on the Overview page. You can use the Overview page to gain insight into the overall performance of your advertising campaigns on LinkedIn. If you’re new to Campaign Manager, you’ll also see tips to help finish setting up your ad account, like adding your billing information, launching your first ad set, and setting up conversion tracking.
From the Overview page, you can:
- Review the sections on the page to help you understand how your campaigns and content performs and learn more about Campaign Manager.
- Create a campaign or ad set using the Create button at the top of the page.
- Change the date range for campaign performance data by using the dropdown menu in the upper-right corner.
- Use the menu on the left side of the page to navigate to other pages in your ad account.
- Use the lightbulb icon on the upper-right side of each section to review AI-generated recommendations to help improve your campaign performance.
Summary
From the summary section of the page, you can:
- View how much your campaigns have spent by grouped objectives for the three marketing funnels: awareness, consideration, and conversions.
- View key metrics for your campaigns with week-over-week comparisons. Use the dropdown menus to switch between the metrics that mean the most to you and your business.
- View insights and recommendations for ways to improve your campaigns.
Ad set performance
From the ad set performance section of the page, you can:
- View ad sets based on status and grouped objectives. Ad set statuses include active, paused, completed, and draft. Grouped objectives include awareness, consideration, and conversions.
- View insights and recommendations for each ad set for ways to improve them.
Important to know
Insights and recommendations for Ads and Assets and Ad formats are only included in the Content section of the Overview page. These can include changes to your ad set configuration and estimated ad set results.
- Click an ad set name to view a summary of that its performance.
- Click View all active ad sets to navigate to the full reporting dashboard, filtered to only your active ad sets.
Content
From the content section of the page, you can:
- View how your content is performing with top-performing ads and under-performing ads, to make informed decisions on how to enhance and optimize your campaigns and ad sets.
- View recommendations for Ads and Assets and Ad Formats of each ad set to optimize them, like changing your ad set's configuration. You can also review insights to review estimated ad set results.

The explore more section of the page is a personalized message center that can help you learn more about:
- Current offers and promotions
- Best practices and onboarding tutorials
- New features and important updates
You can dismiss messages that you no longer need to view.
