  7. Click Post.

The photo requirements are:

  • The size limit for an upload is 5 MB.

  • Photo must be at least 552 (w) x 276 (h) pixels, but we recommend 1080 (w) pixels to better connect with your audience.

  • The photo's aspect ratio can range from 3:1 to 4:5 (width:height). If the ratio is larger, the image will be centered and cropped to fit the max ratio.

  • Uploaded photos can't be resized after they have been posted.

  • Uploaded photos can’t be edited after they have been posted.

  • Small, low-resolution photos may appear in a low-quality

The multi-photo posts requirements are:

  • Images will render a max ratio of 4:5 (e.g., 640 (w) x 800 (h) pixels) and the post will have a greater visual emphasis on the first image.

  • The layout of the post depends on the height and orientation of the first image uploaded.

  • Posts with two images will appear side by side, retaining their aspect ratios.

  • When there are three or more images, the layout depends on the first image’s height and orientation.

  • You can upload a maximum of 20 photos in a multi-photo post.

  • If the first image is landscape or shorter than a 4:3 ratio (or 292px), it will appear at the top, with other images displayed side by side below it.

  • The maximum height of the image container is 4:5. If the images in the first and second rows exceed this height, the images in the bottom row will be cropped to fit.

  • The height of the second row will be determined by the shortest image in that row.

  • Images in the second row will be equally divided in width, and in some cases the images will be cropped to fit the width requirements.

  • If the first image is portrait, square, or lengthier than a 4:3 ratio (or 292px), it will be shown in the left column, with other images stacked vertically to the right.

Note: You can share either a URL link or an image in a post, but not both at the same time. For URL links, we create a preview image taken from the site being shared.
