About us
The Western Sports Park is an extensive 55-acre campus designed to accommodate a wide range of athletic activities. It features six full-sized fields including a championship field with 2000-seat bleachers, adaptable for soccer, lacrosse, rugby, and ultimate frisbee. The park boasts a multipurpose indoor facility that includes basketball and volleyball courts, two indoor arenas with fixed seating, and comprehensive sports medicine and team rooms. Additionally, the campus offers wellness and sensory rooms, a refreshed existing 60,000 sq. ft. facility, and a new 120,000 sq. ft. arena building. Spanning 17 acres of playing fields, the park provides a new drop-off and plaza area, over 2000 parking spaces and a grab-and-go concessions market. Conveniently located within walking distance of hotels, restaurants, and shopping, Western Sports Park is an ideal destination for both athletes and spectators.

Last Tuesday’s ribbon-cutting and Wednesday’s public Grand Opening of the Western Sports Park (WSP) marked a new era for youth sports and events in Northern Utah. From the BYU Dunk Team and Cosmo to Weber State athletes, League One Volleyball (LOVB) Salt Lake pros, and NBA/Utah Jazz alum Ronnie Price, the celebration was packed with energy, excitement, and community pride. With 120,000 sq. ft. of arena space, 17 acres of outdoor fields, and the capacity to host different tournaments under one roof, WSP is already being recognized as a one-of-a-kind facility, not just in Utah, but across the western U.S. Built with tourism dollars to drive regional and national tournaments, the venue will also serve as a home base for local athletes and families.
