  • Every November, the Wendy’s System dedicates a week to honoring our founder, Dave Thomas, and recommitting to the values he established when opening his first restaurant on November 15, 1969.   Dave believed in putting quality into everything we do, treating people with respect, leading with integrity, sharing success, and giving back to our communities. These principles still guide us today, shaping how we serve customers and support each other.   Last week, we wrapped up Founder’s Week by dressing like Dave—white shirt and red tie, his signature look. Thank you to our Wendy’s and Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc. team members around the world for making this year's celebration truly special!

Last week, we welcomed new hires from around the world to our Restaurant Support Center in Dublin, OH for our final 2025 Welcome to Wendy’s onboarding event. During this two-day experience, new team members networked with leadership, connected across business functions, and even rolled up their sleeves in the Innovation Kitchen to craft their own Dave’s Single.     That’s a wrap on Wendy’s annual Frosty 5K Run for Adoption! This year, 1,900+ Wendy’s Company and Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc.. employees, franchisees, supplier partners, restaurant team members, and fans from around the world participated in our virtual race. Together, we raised a record-breaking $226,000 for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption to help find permanent, loving homes for children waiting in foster care.   • When people ask me what I do for Wendy’s, the answer is easy: Help make Wendy’s globally great and locally LOVED. As an International Marketing Manager, my role is to grow the Wendy’s brand across the Middle East, India, and Central Asia. I do this by collaborating with franchisees to develop local marketing strategies, menu innovations, and digital campaigns that reflect the specific needs of each market while also staying true to Wendy’s DNA.  Every country is different, and that’s what makes this work exciting. To help us showcase Wendy’s fresh, craveable food in ways that connect with people locally, I spend time visiting markets, working closely with restaurant teams, and listening to customers. These conversations and insights are critical to ensure that Wendy’s is relevant wherever we are. For example, in India we have unique menu items like the Chickenator and Veggienator to support local dietary preferences. In Georgia, we’ve leaned into a digital-savvy marketing approach to help fuel strong engagement and relevance. And in Saudi Arabia, we’ve adapted Wendy’s global positioning in a locally relevant way to power a bold national relaunch.  I’ve seen how fast Wendy’s is growing across borders, and how the brand resonates with local communities.
