🚗 🏗️ OUT AND ABOUT – With VLMK’s Civil Engineering department Recently, our Civil Engineering department took a group outing: A field trip to the Sherwood Commerce Center job site in Sherwood, OR. The outing gave our team the chance to see firsthand how our designs take shape in the real world. It strengthens technical understanding, encourages collaboration across disciplines, and sparks meaningful conversations that improve project outcomes. Pairing it with a team-bonding lunch helps everyone connect on a personal level, build trust, and reinforce the strong relationships that make our work—and our team—successful. Principal Brian D. who has worked at VLMK for 27 years, leads our civil department.
