About us

At TechTorch, we lead the way in AI-powered Enterprise Technology (ET) solutions and services for Private Equity-backed businesses. Our mission is to operationalize winning strategies in commercial excellence, enterprise data, and AI use cases to drive successful outcomes at unparalleled speed. Every year, over $1 trillion is spent by companies on defining, designing, and implementing ET solutions. Yet, 80% of these efforts fail to achieve their intended business objectives. Despite advances in the software environment, the digitization of businesses with modern Enterprise Technology remains a manual and painful experience, one that we believe is ripe for disruption. TechTorch is at the forefront of this disruption, enhancing the success, reducing the cost, and accelerating the speed of digitization journeys. We deliver ET services and solutions powered by AI accelerators, such as pre-configured digital use cases and architectures. TechTorch provides solutions in a fraction of the time and cost compared to traditional IT service providers.

Still making decisions without the data you need? For many companies, data is everywhere, but trusted, connected, and actionable data is not. Reporting takes too long, insights are inconsistent, and teams operate without a single source of truth. At TechTorch, we help organizations turn chaotic data landscapes into AI-ready, insight-driven systems. Our Data & Business Intelligence capability focuses on four core areas: • #Reporting & Intelligence Dashboards and models that teams actually use, aligned around shared metrics and built for fast, accurate decision-making. • #DataWarehouse Modernization Centralized, scalable data foundations using tools like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, dbt Labs, and Databricks. • Source #DataQuality Fixing messy, duplicated, or disconnected data across systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, Fivetran, and Informatica. • #DataGovernance Policies and tools that make data compliant, trusted, and accessible without slowing teams down. The impact is real: A manufacturing client achieved 60% fewer duplicates and 40% faster reconciliation after streamlining their data foundations. If your teams are still struggling to get the data they need, quickly and reliably, modernizing your data infrastructure is the fastest path to clarity and confidence. • Revenue management is at the core of our DNA. Time is now.

I genuinely believe AI agents are about to reinvent the entire revenue management lifecycle. Not in one corner of the process, not in isolated workflows, but across every single stage: lead, opportunity, CPQ, order management, revenue recognition, cash collections, upsell, and renewal. And they do it with autonomy, learning capability, and real-time adaptability. More and better leads: AI agents can now identify, score, and nurture leads without human intervention. They cut through massive datasets (news, reports, public and private RFPs, social media posts, etc.), spot the highest-value prospects, and engage them proactively, boosting conversions and shrinking cycle times. As those leads mature, agents qualify opportunities, recommend the right next action, and even feed sales teams real-time insights or competitive intel during live calls. It’s like giving every rep a superpower. Winning more opportunities: Agents create winning enablement materials, equip salespeople with automatically generated presentations and demos, and follow up with speed and diligence. Answering RFPs, managing procurement processes, and handling other administrative tasks are all managed by agents. Maximize every deal: Quotes and proposals that used to take hours, or days, now take seconds. AI agents generate accurate quotes, tailor pricing, and respond instantly as customer needs evolve. And once a deal closes, agents take over order management, documentation, and exception handling. No dropped balls. No slow handoffs. Just smooth, accurate execution. Painless revenue recognition and cash collections: Revenue recognition becomes continuous, always aligned with the latest contract milestones and always compliant. Finance teams finally get real-time clarity instead of lagging snapshots. In collections, agents prioritize invoices, send reminders, manage disputes, and escalate when needed. The result? Lower DSO and much more predictable cash flow. Increase upsells, renewals, and customer value: Agents monitor product usage, contract status, and engagement signals to surface timely upsells or cross-sells and automate personalized outreach. On the renewal side, they detect at-risk accounts early, generate retention offers, handle contracts, and coordinate with CS teams. This is how companies shift from reactive firefighting to proactive revenue protection. The early adopters I’m seeing are already experiencing double-digit improvements across pipeline velocity, forecast accuracy, operating costs, and customer satisfaction. And when you connect every stage, from first touch to cash collection, through a single intelligent fabric, revenue management stops being a siloed, reactive process. It becomes a proactive, goal-directed revenue growth engine. This shift isn’t theoretical. It’s happening right now. And it’s bigger than we could imagine.

Databricks vs Snowflake As Snowflake’s market cap approaches Databricks $100B valuation, new business relationships drive the battle for AI and data leadership… New business relationships reveal the extent of the data platform wars: Snowflake and Databricks are locked in a drag race to win AI company relationships. A fifth of the hottest AI companies – including every major foundation model provider, infrastructure giants, and critical data tooling – are partnering with BOTH platforms. So, where are the strategic splits happening? Snowflake has fortified the enterprise data cloud with governance and accessibility partners that traditional buyers demand. Plus, AI data activation partners help turn Snowflake into a mission-critical customer engagement engine. Databricks is redefining enterprise data infrastructure for the AI era. Their recent key business relationships double down on the ML/AI stack and highlight technical depth and specialized AI tooling. Both claim to be the unified platform for all workloads. Databricks wins technical buyers who need flexibility for custom AI applications. Snowflake wins SQL simplicity and zero-maintenance operations. Locked in fierce head-to-head, where is each placing bets for the next wave of growth? Hiring insights reveal strategic direction for 2026: 🔴 Databricks is building production AI for the most demanding environments. They're hiring for an enterprise and regulated industry focus, aiming squarely at Snowflake’s current leadership. Watch for major government/defense contract wins in Q1-Q2 2026 and deepening vertical capture in FSI and healthcare, where AI compliance matters most. 🔵 Snowflake is building the distribution machine and playing catch-up in AI/ML arenas where Databricks took an early lead. They're professionalizing services to make switching easier and weaponizing the 10,618-customer installed base through partner leverage. Expect aggressive bundling with SaaS leaders (Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, etc.) and hyperscaler marketplaces. The competition is accelerating with Databricks hiring for deep technical AI deployments with customers and Snowflake hiring for ecosystem leverage and services-led growth. Both strategies can win – but highlight different 2026 playbooks. The business relationship and hiring battles we're seeing today? Just table-setting for the distribution and technical wars ahead. P.S. Want more data and insights on what’s next in the Snowflake vs Databricks battle? Comment “platform wars” below for *free* access to CB Insights predictive intelligence.

A Few Reflections from Dreamforce 2025 in San Francisco The big themes that I captured: 🧠 From prompting to an agentic platform Salesforce repositioned Agentforce as a full-scale Agentic Platform, evolving from simple AI copilots to intelligent, autonomous agents that can reason, act, and collaborate across enterprise workflows. 🔓 From a walled garden to an open AI ecosystem Salesforce opened its AI development environment to multiple large language models, including OpenAI’s GPT-5 and Anthropic’s Claude, through new connectors and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). 🧩 Beyond CRM; into enterprise workflows The company expanded its scope beyond CRM, introducing agent-driven orchestration across IT Service Management, HR operations, and other enterprise functions (positioning it against incumbents like Microsoft and ServiceNow) 🤖 AI, AI, and AI; still the only thing that matters AI dominated every keynote, demo, and announcement. From Agentforce to Data Cloud, Slack, and Einstein updates, every product line centered on AI enablement; reaffirming Salesforce’s commitment to becoming an AI-first enterprise platform. What I think it means for the immediate future: Salesforce’s 2024 ambitions (Agentforce, Data Cloud, and AI copilots) didn’t fully meet expectations. Limited out-of-the-box use cases, integration complexity, and customer hesitation around data lock-in slowed adoption. In 2025, Salesforce is betting everything on AI agents and openness to regain momentum. This strategy opens powerful possibilities but also exposes key challenges: ❓ Cultural Shift: Salesforce’s sales model and DNA remain CRM-centric. Success will depend on how quickly it can evolve to sell enterprise AI and workflow automation solutions. ❓Execution Gap: The CPQ-to-RCA transition and product complexity continue to frustrate customers. Addressing these fundamentals will be critical for trust and retention. ❓Competitive Pressure: Microsoft and ServiceNow have built stronger footholds in AI-driven workflows and ITSM. Salesforce must show tangible ROI and faster time-to-value to close the gap. ❓Adoption & Skills: Enterprise AI maturity lags far behind the innovation curve. Salesforce’s challenge is to make the agentic enterprise achievable, not just aspirational. Dreamforce 2025 was Salesforce’s declaration that it intends to redefine itself; not just as a CRM giant, but as the platform for autonomous enterprise agents. The vision is bold. The next 12 months will show whether execution can match it.
