Grateful to be learning from this incredible global team of creators and supporters behind #TeamWater. Campaign Co-Founder Matt Fitzgerald and Producer Joshua Sage Thome are at New York Climate Week sharing some of the first takeaways from this movement. We did it. TOGETHER. #TeamWater has officially achieved our goal of raising $40M for 40 million years of clean water access for 2 million people around the world! What started as the largest creator-led crowdfunding campaign  grew to become the biggest campaign for clean water ever. And it was all powered by you. In just 31 days, over 10,000 creators representing 180 countries spanning 6 continents with a collective audience of over 3 billion, sparked a movement for actionable change. From the world’s most recognized creators to school kids hosting backyard fundraisers, from record-setting livestreams to everyday people pitching in what they could—we see you. The entire world sees you. This was a #Team effort. While this win doesn’t end the global water crisis, it proves something powerful: that when people unite together in common cause, humanity shows what it’s really capable of. Caring for others is simply what we humans do. And we’ll need to do it more and more on a changing planet. This campaign is just one reflection of that truth. So take a moment to soak it all in. Be proud! Because you were a part of history. You’ve forever changed the lives of millions of people who deserve a brighter future.
