Your laundry and dry cleaning picked up and delivered straight to your door. Give yourself time for what really matters.

About us

Rinse is building the first and largest national (and global) brand in clothing care. We're taking on a massive consumer problem and creating a significantly better dry cleaning and laundry experience through the combination of "smart scheduling" and best-in-class quality, all supported by a strong technology backbone. We launched in 2013 and are currently in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Chicago, Boston, New York, New Jersey, Austin, Dallas, and Seattle. We've grown at double-digit month-over-month rates since launch, have created a differentiated service our customers love, and have a model where the economics actually work. Rinse is backed by a group of leading VCs and CEOs who see the massive potential in what we are doing and know we are the team to do it. We are looking for stars to join our team and can’t wait to hear from you.

What does Boston bring to mind? Maybe Fenway Park, lobster rolls, and its many world renown universities. To some Rinse Bostonite execs, the city reminds them of Moving Day on September 1st, so-named for the significant proportion of Boston leases that start and end on this date every year. Undergraduate and graduate students move into and around the city on this logistic-heavy day. While moving into a new apartment is a fresh start: the unofficial beginning of the fall semester or the start of a new job, it can also be hectic. Read Moving Day experiences from our very own Bostonite execs, James Joun Aaron Wippold Darshil Jariwala’s with “5 Pro Tips for Surviving Boston Moving Day (Without Losing Your Sanity…or Your Comforter)” and why they would’ve been Rinse devotees if the technology had existed during their student days. Fundraising isn’t just an art—it’s an operational system. Rinse’s CEO / co-founder Ajay Prakash shares hard-won lessons on moving fast, focusing on the right investors, and building a process that makes it easy to say “yes.” 💡 Looking forward to the full episode on The Founder Initiative (formerly TheTop.VC)!

Helping Founders Get Funded & Hit PMF

$70M raise 🎤🫳🏽 Rinse's Founder, Ajay Prakash shared his fundraising journey on The Founder Initiative (formerly TheTop.VC)! The episode will be dropping in the coming weeks, but here are a few unique insights from the conversation: 💡 3 Fundraising Lessons Most Founders Learn Too Late: 1️⃣ Push for the No 👎 – Don’t waste months in endless “maybe” conversations. If an investor won’t commit, move on. Clear rejections save precious time. 2️⃣ Find the Right Stage – A great pitch to the wrong investor (e.g., Series A investor when you need seed) won’t get you funded. 3️⃣ Fundraising is an Operational Problem – Build a system: prep your data pack, draft warm intro emails, remove friction everywhere. Make it EASY for investors to say yes. 🙌 One quote that stuck with me: “Cash is oxygen. As a founder, your #1 job is to get cash in the bank—everything else comes after.” Founders, what lessons have YOU learned from fundraising? Let’s share the learnings to help each other grow. 🚀 #Startups #Fundraising #FounderJourney #VentureCapital #SeedStage #SeriesA #FounderInsights Thank you Will Vogel for the intro!

It was fun to reflect a bit and share insights from my (now) 12-year journey at Rinse with Pulse 2.0. We talked about how we started back in 2013, our mission to simplify clothing care while supporting local cleaners, our differentiation, our technology ... even my favorite memories and customer stories that stick out to me over the years. The startup journey is hard, and there are a lot of challenges along the way (one major one mentioned in the article!), but it's energizing to look back at everything we've navigated and accomplished at Rinse and see just how bright the future looks as we continue on our journey to becoming a household name. https://lnkd.in/gsuTiaf2

📢 Introducing Rinse Rise: Empowering Communities, One Load of Laundry at a Time At Rinse, we believe clean clothes have the power to change lives. That’s why we’re proud to introduce Rinse Rise, our new social impact platform dedicated to supporting underserved communities through free and low-cost laundry services. Our first initiative kicks off this December in partnership with Barrier Free Living’s Freedom House shelter in Manhattan—a safe haven for those who have recently fled domestic violence, including those with disabilities. Rinse Rise will provide professional laundry services for residents, ensuring they have clean clothes as they work toward stability and long-term housing. By removing the cost and inconvenience of doing laundry, we’re helping residents focus on what matters most: rebuilding their lives with dignity, comfort, and confidence. This is just the beginning for Rinse Rise, and we’re excited to continue growing this platform to support even more communities. 💡 Interested in partnering with us or learning more? Reach out to us at marketing@rinse.com. 📢 Read more about Rinse Rise here as well as our campaign with Barrier Free Living on our blog

Laundry is a chore that many of us take for granted. You might have your own washer & dryer, or you might use Rinse to take care of your laundry with the press of a button. Not everyone has that luxury, though. There are many people out there who struggle to make ends meet, and their limited access to laundry and lack of clean clothes only serves to make life harder. Given that, I am excited to announce *Rinse Rise*, our new social impact initiative. Through Rinse Rise, we will provide clean laundry to vulnerable and underserved populations, where taking the burden (time and cost) of laundry off their plate can make a meaningful difference in their lives. We recently kicked off our first partnership with Barrier Free Living, an organization that helps survivors of domestic violence rebuild their lives. Rinse is providing free laundry to 90 of their residents as they focus on the more important task of finding much-needed stability and security for themselves and their families during a time of transition. This will be the first of many meaningful partnerships where Rinse can have an impact, because everyone deserves access to clean clothes and the confidence, comfort, and dignity they bring.
