Resource Innovations is proud to help Seattle City Light turn contractors, designers, and installers into engaged trade allies—boosting participation and impact across SCL’s programs. #TradeAllies #EnergyEfficiency #CleanEnergy
Seattle City Light hosted its 2nd Annual Trade Ally Meet & Greet event on Thursday, Nov 13, 2025. This year's event had over 50 participants. Presentations were given by Joe Fernandi (CES Division director), Sandra Mallory (Office of Sustainability and Environment's Acting Buildings & Energy director), Robert Bogataj (Lighting Design Lab), Ryan Peterson (lighting contractor, West Ridge Energy), and I. After the presentations, trade allies visited tables that had collateral/SCL personnel for specific areas of interest: EV charging, renewables, lighting, multifamily, whole building, non-lighting, and new construction. Huge shoutouts to the Program Manager who orchestrated the event with his core team as well as our trade ally engagement program itself, William C.; our internal Field Engagement Manager, Len Kannapell; and Resource Innovations for supporting us on the implementation of this program.
