Just a guy funding a golf and Chipotle addiction through buying existing small bay/flex industrial buildings up to 25k SF in the Ohio market.
Nearly 8 years ago I decided to start my own investment real estate brokerage. I thought I would be the only person at the company so I named it REAF Company (Real Estate And Flipflops) because I wear flip flops for just about any occasion and I didn't think anyone would notice because I didn't broker too much. But as I met some other like-minded individuals, the idea of taking it solo shifted and gave me a vision for creating a network of agents that not only brokered, but invested in real estate together. But I never could have imagined what it would become today. Today we house more than 40 full-time investment-minded agents and were just recognized as #39 on Columbus Business First's Fast 50, recognizing the fastest-growing privately held companies in Central Ohio. I wish I could take credit for a lot of this, but there are two true stars in this company--my partners, Remington Lyman and Marc Rice. These are two of the most entrepreneurially-minded men I have ever met, and their hustle, determination, leadership, and loyalty is unrivaled. It has been such a privilege to watch these two work together to grow this company, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for reafco. And shoutout to all the ReafBros out there--you guys make this fun to watch 🚀🌙
