Think of HITRUST as the PhD of healthcare cybersecurity 🎓 — hard to earn, but deeply meaningful. ———————————————————— 🧠 Other Security Standards You Might See Beyond the core four: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF): Best practices across Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover. FedRAMP: Required for cloud platforms working with government health data. GDPR: The EU’s privacy law emphasizing consent, transparency, and the right to be forgotten.
