For the 6th consecutive year, our Columbia office demonstrated the power of giving back. This Thanksgiving, our team assembled 21 complete holiday boxes for community members - supported by a local Food Lion, a generous church donation, and the dedication of our Care Managers. 🤍 Delivering these boxes directly to the individuals we serve allows us to build meaningful connections and foster gratitude - reminding us why community care is at the heart of our mission.

Mental Health Cooperative and our Partners in Care (PIC) program received the Father Fred Dettwiller Award for Public Safety from the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Nashville Police + Public Safety Alliance. This collaboration between MHC and MNPD has transformed how first responders approach mental health calls. Our goal is to ensure people receive compassionate care and vital resources without falling through the cracks. We’re proud to be part of a movement that’s redefining what safety and care look like in our community. 💙 Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County

Give what you can. Change what you see. Mental Health Cooperative is coming together to ensure our neighbors have what they need this season. Beginning November 5th, drop off non-perishable food items at any of our 12 MHC locations. Every can, box, or dollar helps us feed families across our serving communities. Together, we can make sure no neighbor goes without. 💙

Mental Health Cooperative stands united with our communities to ensure our neighbors have access to the food they need. Below you’ll find a list of local food resources available within our service areas. For a more detailed directory of food pantries and distribution sites, please visit our partners: • Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee • Mid-South Food Bank • Chattanooga Area Food Bank In addition to connecting individuals with existing food resources, Mental Health Cooperative will soon launch our own community food drive and donation initiative to help fill pantry shelves and support families in need across the regions we serve. Mental health services remain a critical need for the neighbors we serve. Kudos to our partner, Mental Health Cooperative, for championing this vital community resource — and to Commissioner Marie Williams and the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for making its funding possible. Yesterday symbolized that hope truly starts here. We are deeply honored to announce the opening of our Children and Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing peace, safety, and healing for the young people of Tennessee. This milestone represents our collective commitment to the next generation, ensuring that every child and teen in crisis has access to compassionate, immediate care. We extend our deepest gratitude to our state and city leaders for their unwavering support: Governor Bill Lee, Commissioner Marie Williams (TN Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services), Mayor Freddie O’Connell, and Judge Sheila Calloway. To our board members, payors, first responders, and community partners — thank you for believing in this mission and helping make it a reality. And to our community — we are honored to serve you and to be a place of healing and hope. The Children and Youth Crisis Stabilization Unit will open to the public in the next 30 days. If you or someone you love is experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please contact us at 615-726-0125 or walk in at 250 Cumberland Bend, Nashville, TN. Hope starts here.
