The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is a private non-profit community mental health center who provides behavioral health services for all ages. We are the largest outpatient mental healthcare provider in the State of New Hampshire. Our affiliate program, Bedford Counseling Associates, (BCA), is designed for persons of all ages who require a short term counseling approach for challenges that have a disruptive impact on a person's quality of life.   • On Friday, Patricia Carty, MHCGM President and CEO, hosted Robert Tourigny, Executive Director of NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire, and presented him with the Community Leadership Award. Robert was unable to join MHCGM in person at our Annual Celebration, but was thrilled to receive the award. In his acceptance speech, he said, "I truly believe that we all can make a difference in ensuring the health and well-being of others, and I am grateful and honored to have a role in helping to make this happen in the Greater Manchester area, and throughout our state through my work in housing." Marcy, EdD, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), which is considered one of 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨. The American Academy of Nursing (AAN) is an international think tank of leaders in science, policy, innovation, and healthcare, representing all 50 U.S. states and about 50 countries. Each year, the Academy inducts approximately 200 nurses worldwide as Fellows. Marcy was recognized for her efforts in standardizing graduate expectations across Nursing Programs, aiming to reduce variability with the intention of improving patient outcomes. This includes collaborating with national organizations to align curricula, assessments, and practice readiness, thereby supporting safer and more equitable care across various settings.
