  • Always thrilled to be represented by our Social Impact strategist, Shazia Mir! Her voice, perspective, and leadership continue to shape LabCentral’s mission to build a more inclusive, equitable, and community-driven biotech ecosystem. Shazia’s work reminds us that expanding access starts with asking the right questions: Whose story is missing? Who hasn’t been seen in this space before? Her commitment to bridging art, science, and community through Gallery 1832 reflects the heart of our social impact mission. Congratulations again, Shazia! We’re grateful for your vision and all the ways you help push us forward. 👏

Social Impact Programming and Mission-Driven Culture | Gallery Curator and Creative Strategist | Driving Brand Strength & Community Engagement

On equity: “Whose story is missing? Who hasn’t been seen in this space before?” These questions guide my work and ensure that curation becomes an act of expanding visibility, not reinforcing the familiar. On art and innovation: “Art inspires science, and science inspires art each pushing the other toward deeper curiosity and more inclusive impact.” Last night, I had the pleasure of joining an incredible panel at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) as part of the Visionary Crossings exhibition by Mao Miyamoto an evening that reaffirmed the power of bringing #art, #science, and #community into conversation with one another. Sitting alongside thoughtful voices like Tricia Bitetto, Stacey Messier, and Anupallavi Sinha, MPH was energizing. Together, we explored how creativity fuels innovation, how lived experience shapes discovery, and how art offers a lens of empathy and humanity that science urgently needs. It was especially meaningful to witness how Visionary Crossings has grown since its inception at Gallery 1832, and to see Mao continue cultivating spaces where these dialogues can thrive. If you’re in Kendall Square, I encourage you to visit CIC, One Broadway to experience the exhibition and please take a look at what’s ahead for Gallery 1832 at LabCentral in 2026 - our social impact events are open to the public, perfect for art and science enthusiasts, for networking, expanding community, and engaging in enriching dialogue - https://lnkd.in/eUqB9Kf6 I’m grateful for the invitation, the shared reflections, and the collective commitment to using creativity as a catalyst for change. When we center purpose and perspective in this way, the art becomes more than a visual experience it becomes a platform for belonging, imagination, and community impact.
