  • At NYSE this week, Impulse President and COO Eric Romo spoke about the evolution of space access, from its military origins to its present role in our daily lives through GPS and other innovations. The commercial space market is growing rapidly to build and support the systems our world now relies on. • Meet the official LEO Express 3 mission patch.  The patch features Mira’s new, upgraded design, with gimbaled solar arrays and deck built to host and deploy payloads. The three orbital arcs represent LEO → MEO → GEO, reflecting one of LEO Express 3’s objectives: to serve as a bridge between operations in LEO, where Mira has flown to-date, and future flights in high energy orbits, beginning in 2026.   In the background, a dot-work graphic alludes to the appearance of the Milky Way from Earth. But look closer: it’s the outline of California, where Impulse’s headquarters are located and where our company began four years ago.  LEO Express 3 launches soon. Introducing LEO Express 3, launching soon on the Transporter-15 rideshare mission with SpaceX.    Mira is flying its third mission, debuting the first vehicle in the upgraded spacecraft line. Building on the success of the LEO Express 1 and 2 missions, LEO Express 3 expands Mira’s performance envelope and will execute operations for multiple customer payloads:     📦 Precision deployments: • Returning customer FOSSA Systems, using partner Exolaunch’s deployment system 🛰️ Hosted payloads: • Returning customer HEO • Demos for Samara Aerospace and Zenno Astronautics 🔧 Upgraded spacecraft systems, including:  • Deployable, gimbaled solar arrays   • Onboard reaction wheels   • Avionics components that will also be used for Helios, including IMU, batteries, and radios   • Enhanced propulsion capabilities  Mira is advancing in-space mobility and pushing the bounds of what’s possible for the space economy. It's just one of the ways we’re working to accelerate our future beyond Earth. Follow along for mission updates: https://lnkd.in/g_2H_bnm #MobilizeSpace #LEOExpress3

  • Impulse has been recognized as one of Fast Company's Next Big Things in Tech. This is about momentum. From successful LEO Express 1 and LEO Express 2 missions, to ongoing Helios progress, to preparing for LEO Express 3 with our most capable Mira yet, we’ve been busy. And we’re not slowing down. Our progress is a testament to what we can build when innovation meets expertise. With our highly vertically integrated approach, we’re rapidly advancing reliable, cost-effective, in-space mobility. Our goal is to give space operators the capability to go anywhere efficiently, whether that’s a unique orbital regime in LEO or the Moon. Thank you to our team, investors, customers, and partners for believing in this mission and helping us move faster every day. 🌎🚀 #MobilizeSpace https://lnkd.in/gJTPbzpv

  • Mira is getting ready for launch!  Our spacecraft for the LEO Express 3 mission has officially left our building ahead of the upcoming Transporter-15 rideshare mission with SpaceX. This marks another key milestone as we move toward launch.  LEO Express 3 builds on flight heritage with upgraded systems across propulsion, avionics, and payload hosting.  It’s our most capable Mira yet—and it’s almost time to fly. Stay tuned for mission updates soon.  #MobilizeSpace #LEOExpress3 #Mira

  • “Traveling to and landing on the Moon requires highly-integrated spacecraft with reliable performance across all systems—from avionics to propulsion to communications—and we’ve already proven that we’re up to the task.” — Thomas Mueller, Founder & CEO, Impulse Space Today, we’re unveiling our proposed mission architecture to deliver more mass to the lunar surface, in the near term. NASA and this administration have made it clear: a lasting human presence on the Moon is vital to American leadership in space. Increasing lunar cargo capacity is key to making that possible. By pairing our Helios kick stage with a new, Impulse-built lunar lander, we’re taking the next step toward mobilizing space, and enabling sustained lunar operations. Our lander engine is already in development, and our team is ready to execute further in support of America’s next era of space exploration.    🔗 Read more about our proposed plan in Tom’s blog post: https://lnkd.in/gRqxd_iw    #MobilizeSpace

  • Orbital security requires real-time awareness and the ability to act quickly.     Supported by the UK Space Agency, Impulse is partnering with Lodestar Space and UCL for an on-the-ground demonstration of Lodestar’s Mithril avionics stack on our Mira spacecraft—both showcasing real-time autonomy and maneuverability, validating the system for a planned future UK-US orbital launch.    “This project reflects Mira’s strengths when serving as a hosting platform: the ability to provide an agile, responsive, and high delta-v spacecraft that, paired with a payload like Mithril, can unlock new mission profiles on orbit,” said Eric Romo, President & COO.    Full statement linked in the comments.

  • Payload integration for our LEO Express 3 Mira is a "wrap"—the spacecraft is now fitted with multi‑layer insulation (MLI) ahead of its launch later this year. In space, temperature extremes pose significant challenges for spacecraft. MLI ensures our avionics, propulsion systems, payloads, and other onboard components stay within their acceptable thermal ranges throughout the mission lifetime. Our team is now focusing on final system checkouts before shipping to the launch site. #MobilizeSpace

Impulse and Anduril Industries are advancing RPO in GEO. We’re expanding our partnership to conduct a high-precision Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) mission in GEO, targeted for 2026. Our highly maneuverable spacecraft, Mira, will ride aboard our Helios kick stage, reaching GEO in under 24 hours after initial deployment in LEO. From there, Mira will detach and execute RPO demonstrations using Anduril’s integrated mission data processor (MDP), long-wave infrared imager, Lattice software platform, and other systems. Through this, we’re demonstrating how RPO missions can be more cost-effective, more flexible, and operate on faster timelines. We’re looking forward to continued innovation that can support the US and our allies in space. 🔗 Learn more about the mission: https://lnkd.in/guZEAThr  #MobilizeSpace
