For men, midlife decline is not destiny. It is what happens when information arrives too late. Unfortunately, men do not get nearly enough education about what actually changes in their bodies as they age. So I joined News 12 Long Island’s beWell with Kristie Reeter to break it down in simple, evidence-based terms. Starting around age 30, men experience real physiological shifts: • Testosterone declines 1 to 2 percent each year • Environmental toxins mimic estrogen and blunt natural hormone production • Muscle mass drops roughly 8 percent per decade, lowering metabolic flexibility and overall strength • These changes can drive brain fog, depression, and cardiometabolic issues The good news is men are not powerless. We now have the tools to measure hormones and biomarkers affordably, understand what is happening inside the body, and create personalized protocols that help men feel strong and capable again. Grateful to News 12 for the conversation…and for giving men a space to talk openly about aging, health, and taking ownership of their well-being. Watch the full segment here: https://lnkd.in/drrcDcNY To the men out there, and the people who support them, I would love to hear from you. What are you doing right now to build better long-term health?

The FDA made history and CBS brought us in to explain why it matters. This week, I had the chance to speak with CBS New York about the FDA’s decision to remove the black box warning from menopause hormone therapy. This is a turning point for women’s health and long overdue. The real highlight was hearing Tracy Middleton share what this means on a personal level. Policy changes matter, but stories like hers show why access, education, and modern care can change lives. Proud of the work our team at Hone Health is doing to make science based, personalized care the new standard. Check out the CBS segment below and let us know what you think about the FDA’s decision in the comments.

Building a Founder-Led Brand Part II: Genuine Relationships Let me tell you a story about friendship, networking, & punching people in the face: 1. I met Andy Stenzler at a founder dinner & we immediately hit it off. We just got each other. He is a ‘real one.’ He wanted to share lots without bounds. I knew then and there he would become a mentor. We had the same viewpoint, same risk tolerance, & same inquisitive mind. 2. We ate lunch & I learned about his multiple successes, one of which is the popular boxing gym, Rumble. Now, after founding & selling the brand, he was about to create a new fitness brand, The Pack. I had to invest. 3. He then introduced me to his wife Shari Misher Stenzler & we also hit it off immediately. I loved the interaction so much, I hired her agency LMPR Communications for some help with PR. 4. The next step was natural. We decided to co-host an event & do a custom merch drop. 5. There was just one problem, however. I hadn’t met his other partner yet who was, coincidentally, the face of the brand…Noah Neiman, who doesn’t like suits. Good thing I am not one. I spent time getting to know Noah & quickly realized we are the same guy. We are both committed to making people healthier, deep into culture/fashion, & around the way trouble makers. 6. It took us 5 months to build organic friendships, but now the table was set & all values aligned across the board. 7. They say you don’t really know a partner — romantic or in business — until you have your first argument. During the planning phase, we butted heads about the vision for our event, but it was necessary since we needed something to test our relationship. Things got tense, but we worked through it & it only made the relationship stronger. Long story short: real relationships take time, there are few shortcuts, and in life, you want better when you get to do big things with high-quality people. My framework for people I want to work with is: 1. Common Goals 2. Shared Values 3. Shared Mission 4. Passionate 5. Willing to work through adversity 6. Allow you to be yourself 7. Looking for long-term value exchange Thank you to everyone who showed up!

After two decades of fear and misinformation, the FDA just removed the black box warning from menopause hormone therapy. It's a historic moment for women’s health…and about damn time. Even better? It could redefine how millions of women age. The estrogen in HRT protects the systems that determine healthspan itself: 1️⃣ Urogenital: Vaginal estrogen prevents recurrent UTIs, an issue that can lead to chronic pelvic pain and antibiotic resistance 2️⃣ Mood: HRT cuts the risk of major depression by about 50% 3️⃣ Bones: HRT users have up to a 25% lower fracture risk 4️⃣ Brain: Early HRT is linked to sharper cognition and may reduce dementia risk 5️⃣ Heart: Estrogen improves cholesterol profiles and inflammation markers For decades, women have been told to fear the very thing that could help them live longer, stronger, and better. Today, the FDA finally caught up with what specialists have known all along: 👉 Modern, personalized hormone therapy is safe for most women 👉 When prescribed within 10 years of menopause or before age 60, it can profoundly change how they age. This is bigger than menopause. It’s about redefining what it means to live better for longer, with science and data leading the way.

🚨 BREAKING: The FDA is removing the black box warning on hormone replacement therapy. After 20 years of caution, U.S. regulators now acknowledge what research has shown all along: Modern HRT can safely support women through menopause — and far beyond. This is one of the most meaningful advances in women’s health policy in a generation. Why it matters: • More accurate understanding of risk • Better access to individualized care • Acknowledgement of HRT’s role in supporting long-term health This change doesn’t mean HRT is right for everyone — but it finally clears the way for nuanced, evidence-based conversations. Menopause is a turning point in long-term health. Today, policy finally reflects that. 🔗 https://bit.ly/3LvgMYm #Menopause #HRT #Longevity #WomenInMedicine #WomensHealth #Healthspan #FDA #FDAMenopause #MenopauseSupport #FDANews #WomensHealthNews #News #LongevityNews

Excited to share that Hone was featured at MozCon as a leader in organic content diversification in an excellent presentation from Misty Larkins! It's wild to roll up to a conference and see your work used as an example in someone else's talk. In an era when Google traffic isn't guaranteed, we're changing the conversation about where you can drive inbound visibility. 💥 And none of it is possible without stellar editorial expertise from Tracy Middleton and Aviva Patz Here are three themes I picked up during the conference: 1. Organization: Group keywords into topics, tag by funnel impact, report growth at a page group level. Dr. Pete Meyers says that while the infinite tail of keywords is in fact...infinite, some terms still matter more than others. 2. Originality: Write something that adds value, ie functional content with useful features for readers. 👏 STOP 👏 WRITING 👏 BORING 👏 HOW 👏 TO 👏 GUIDES 👏 Per chima mmeje🏳️🌈 functional content that serves a purpose and adds something new rather than definitional content. 3. Diversification: Drive traffic from sources other than Google with PR, video, etc. And look at KPIs other than content. Think about ways to share your value that have never been done before. Wil Reynolds was not afraid to lay down truths about how traffic has truly never meant anything if it didn't drive growth (10K difference in clicks, no difference in conversions).
