Henrico County Public Schools is the sixth largest public school division in Virginia, and comprises 75 schools and program centers serving 50,000 students. The school system serves the families of vibrant Henrico County, which wraps west, north and east of the independent city and state capital of Richmond. Henrico Schools expresses a divisionwide commitment to every student by communicating a vision of inclusiveness: “The right to achieve.   • WEDNESDAY JOB FAIR: Join the Henrico County Public Schools team as an instructional assistant for 2025-26! From bus drivers to school security, other positions are also available, and you can learn more at our monthly job fair July 16 from noon-4 p.m. at the division’s Parham Road offices (1910 E. Parham Road). 🤝 Full-time and part-time instructional assistant positions are available. Full-time instructional assistants work 10 months (204 days) per year, and a minimum of 7.25 hours per day. Starting compensation is $30,592 per year. Part-time (temporary) instructional assistants work no more than 29 hours per week and earn $19.70 per hour. In addition to instructional assistants, HCPS is seeking candidates for facilities staff, bus drivers, substitute bus drivers, bus assistants, school nutrition staff, school security, substitute teachers and classroom teachers.
