#ProjectAwarded: SFA Forestry and Agriculture Facilities Hays Electrical Services is proud to partner with The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as Stephen F. Austin State University moves forward with new state-of-the-art forestry and agriculture facilities in City of Nacogdoches, Texas. This transformative project strengthens hands-on learning, research opportunities and industry engagement for future generations of students.   The development includes a new four-story, 102,117-square-foot Forestry Building featuring technology-integrated classrooms, research labs, student resource areas and faculty offices. An additional 16,990-square-foot Agricultural Engineering and Technology Building will enhance technical training for students pursuing careers in agriculture and related fields.   Hays is honored to help bring this innovative academic vision to life with electrical systems built for reliability, safety and long-term impact. #ProjectUpdate: Hays Electrical Advances MD Anderson’s Next-Generation Service Center Hays Electrical Services is proud to partner with Manhattan Construction Company on the new MD Anderson Cancer Center Consolidated Service Center: a landmark 250,000-square-foot commercial facility that will streamline logistics and strengthen critical infrastructure for one of the nation’s leading cancer research institutions. The project recently celebrated a major construction milestone with the topping out of the structure, marking the halfway point of progress and a significant step forward for the entire team. With the roof now in place, crews are able to transition interior work and continue making measurable strides without weather delays, a testament to the project’s strong coordination and consistent momentum.   The Hays team is providing full-scale electrical systems installation, including: • Power distribution and lighting systems for the 250,000-square-foot facility • Site utilities and infrastructure integration for advanced logistics operations • Future-ready electrical design supporting high-performance operations Now approaching 50% completion, the project continues to progress ahead of schedule, with zero safety incidents and zero recordables to date. More than 40 Hays electricians are currently on site, ensuring precision delivery and seamless coordination across trades. “This project exemplifies who we are as a company,” said Darrell Carder, COO of Hays Electrical Services. “We take great pride in building the infrastructure that supports world-class institutions like MD Anderson Cancer Center—facilities that impact lives, drive innovation, and shape the future of healthcare.” The project remains on track for early completion before June 2026, continuing Hays Electricals' proven record of delivering excellence across high-demand, large-scale commercial sectors nationwide.
