Last week we had the final conference of the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme´s project DREAM_PACE: an inspiring discussion, great outcome and a big discussion about Demand-Responsive-Transport. With a peak of 70 stakeholders in presence and the streaming online, we gain attention of a large audience, with a great number of very insightful speakers! The main outcomes: #DRT is entering its maturity; it needs to be more coordinated, but remaining flexible… But, at the end, #DRT can indeed contribute to addressing some of Europe’s most urgent #mobility challenges. Keep on yes on DREAM_PACE YouTube channel https://lnkd.in/eipK-Bta , so to watch our four short videos created as project wrap-up, as well as for the recording of the final event! A big thanks to everyone and to our speakers! Keen to see DREAM_PACE and #DRT achieving a larger audience!
After years of careful planning, collaboration, and testing, the DREAM_PACE project is wrapping up this week in Berlin! 🇪🇺 If you are not familiar with it, DREAM_PACE is an international project that brought together 12 partners from 5 countries with a common goal of improving public transport accessibility in peripheral and rural areas across Central Europe. Earlier this year, we announced that we supported BKK - Budapesti Közlekedési Központ in launching a demand-responsive transport service in one of Budapest’s outer districts (Cinkota), bringing reliable public transport to rural areas where traditional routes aren’t viable. 🚍 The project gave us the opportunity to further develop our platform with new DRT features, including dynamic route planning that helps operators plan and run services more easily and efficiently. Want to see how it all works in practice? Check out the article below or drop us a message!💬👇 Should you be in Berlin these next few days, let Balázs know!

The City of #Hamburg confirms to be a European hub for mobility innovation(s): here their plan to integrate Demand Responsive Transport into the more general PT systems! Hat off for Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (hvv) And this confirms the trends already noticed, that is, #DRT is more and more recognised as a central asset of urban and rural mobility.
