Founded in 1971, COMTO is a national organization that empowers all lived experience and contracting opportunities in the multi-modal, multi-billion-dollar transportation industry. Our mission is to connect untapped talent to opportunities through leadership training, professional development, scholarship and internship funding, political advocacy, partnership building and networking opportunities. Today, COMTO has more than 3,000 members in 40 chapters across the United States and Canada. We represent more than 3 million people in the United States and Canada who work in all modes of the transportation industry. COMTO's Northern California Chapter was founded in 1985, and we support nearly 4,000 professionals from transportation agencies, corporations, academic institutions, industry non-profits, and small businesses within the region.

Counting down to this Saturday, November 8 in San Francisco for our Co-Hosted Pre-Focus on the Future Happy Hour. We’re thrilled to welcome DJ Marie Posa, a San Francisco– and New York–based artist known for crafting intentional, soulful vibes inspired by global sounds. A lifelong musician with roots in jazz, Marie’s style is shaped by her travels and collaborations around the world. With over a decade in the music industry, she has performed at Art With Me in Las Vegas, Perozah Beach Club in Costa Rica, Sanctuary in Rome, Gospel and Hearsay in Manhattan, and most recently in Greece and Berlin—sharing stages with artists like Dixon, Bedouin, Damian Lazarus, Maceo Plex, and more.
