CLP Engineering was proud to attend, exhibit, and present at the 2025 Survalent Global User Conference as a Survalent Authorized Partner! This year, our team had the opportunity to share insights from the field and connect with industry peers driving innovation in grid modernization and SCADA systems. Our VP & Chief Engineer Ajay Sitaula, PE and SCADA/Automation Engineer Jeff Skillington presented “Survalent SCADA Integration Case Studies,” highlighting real-world applications that strengthen reliability and operational visibility for utilities. Later in the day, our Director of Engineering Dalton Shaffer led a session on “Optimizing Grid Performance with Advanced DMS,” exploring how data-driven control and automation enhance grid efficiency. We’re grateful to Survalent for hosting such a collaborative and forward-thinking event, and to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. Events like these remind us how vital partnerships and shared knowledge are to powering progress across the industry. #SurvalentUC2025 #SCADA #GridModernization #UtilityEngineering #SurvalentUC #FutureGrid #GridInnovation #Survalent

Project Update: Advancing Sustainable Solar Energy at Hanscom Family Housing This project includes over 2MW of roof top solar PVs and accompanying energy storage system. City Light & Power's recent progress on our Hanscom AFB solar project: -731 homes total, over 2,500 residents -Aiming to provide over 30% of the community's electricity from renewable sources -This will generate approximately 2,500 MWh in its first year, reducing reliance on non-renewable energy and stabilizing electricity costs for residents for the next 25 years. -Installations of a 2.2MW rooftop solar PV system are approximately 90% complete, with final rooftop work slated to wrap up in July. - On May 29, both Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) were successfully delivered and set in place. - Utility interconnections are actively underway including trenching, conduit installation, and cable pulls to connect the BESS yard to the Hanscom Family Housing distribution system. - Final terminations are in progress, and medium voltage, fire alarm, and solar scopes remain on track for August completion, ahead of system commissioning in September. CLP is proud to support resilient, sustainable infrastructure for our partners and communities. #ProjectUpdate #SolarEnergy #EnergyStorage #Sustainability #BESS #CleanEnergy
