🔥 October is Fire Prevention Month, and we’re highlighting how fire plays a natural role in our ecosystem. Noah Baker, the City’s Wildfire, Climate, and Community Health Specialist, explains how prescribed burning helps reduce fuel buildup and keep our Ponderosa pine forests healthy. 🌲We also look at why it’s essential to train new firefighters in prescribed burn techniques, since they’re more likely to face wildfires than structure fires. 🧑🚒 #Flagstaff #FirePreventionMonth #WildfirePreparedness #PrescribedBurning
