CAPTRUST Community Foundation

Our CAPTRUST team was very blessed to have the opportunity to present the Penrickton Center for Blind Children with a $10,000 check this week on behalf of the CAPTRUST Community Foundation. Penrickton was selected by our Southfield, MI team due to the incredible work they have been doing since 1952 in serving children who are visually impaired and have at least one additional handicap, such as deafness, cerebral palsy, development delay, seizures, etc. Thank you to Patricia Obrzut for providing our team a tour of the facility and for sharing the history of the organization. I don't think there were any dry eyes in the room after watching the video you played. Shout out to our entire team in Southfield for all the hard work they do in serving our clients and the community. It is an incredible honor to be able to make such an important donation to a well-deserving organization. Last week, the CAPTRUST Community Foundation brought together a team of employees for a day of giving back! Their energy, enthusiasm, and big hearts were on full display as they assembled 160 Cheeriodicals kits for children receiving treatment ECU Health and delivered an additional 40 kits to families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern North Carolina. These kits are designed to bring moments of peace and comfort for families, along with fun and entertainment for children facing challenging times. 🎉 To make the day even brighter, the hospital brought along one of their furry friends, Sam, who truly was the PAWfect addition to the event! 🐾 Thanks to their dedication and teamwork, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and cheer, spreading joy to those who need it most. We can’t wait to bring together organizations like CAPTRUST Community Foundation, whose generosity and community spirit make a meaningful difference and help support our mission of bringing hope and happiness to children and families. We can’t wait to do it again soon!

Cheeriodicals and CAPTRUST Community Foundation Unite for a Cause   We’re excited to announce an upcoming event with CAPTRUST Community Foundation (CCF) to bring big smiles and even bigger cheer to kids and families in Greenville, NC!   On October 1st, more than 100 CAPTRUST employees will come together to assemble 200 Cheeriodicals care kits, our signature “big green boxes of cheer” filled with toys, crafts, and activities designed to brighten the days of children who need it most.   The very next day, October 2nd, the CCF team will hand-deliver these special gifts to ECU Health and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern North Carolina.   Each box is more than what’s inside, it’s a reminder to families that they’re not alone, and to every child that they are seen, supported, and loved.   On this special day, Pirate purple will proudly make room for Cheeriodicals green, and we can’t wait to see the smiles that follow!
