Had a fantastic time at Saint Louis University (SLU) judging for their ASCE Candy Construction event! 🍫🍬 The students really brought their A-game, turning everyday sweets into impressive structural designs. It’s always a highlight to see this level of creativity and collaborative problem-solving. Well done to all the teams! #SLUCandyConstruction #asceSTL #asceMadeMe ASCE St. Louis Section ASCE - SLU
Join #asceSTL, ASCE Kansas City Section, and others for a virtual information session on the upcoming 2027 Kansas & Missouri Infrastructure Report Cards! As volunteers, you will select an infrastructure category to research, use public databases and funding information, and write a report on how the infrastructure has changed in your given state. ASCE members will then use these reports to compile the state’s “Report Card”, and present the information to the public and state legislators. This is an awesome opportunity to learn more about your state’s infrastructure, the infrastructure funding process, and get involved with ASCE Government Relations. As an added bonus, section writers are eligible for seven (7) PDHs🙌🏼 Interested in volunteering? Sign up for the updated information session on November 19th at noon to hear more! shortURL.at/wKqXS #asceSTL #asceRegion7 #asceLocalNews #ThisIsASCE #asceMadeMe #CivilEngineering #InfrastructureReportCard #Advocacy #Missouri #Kansas

Subsurface Constructors was happy to be well-represented at the ASCE St. Louis Section Structural and GeoConfluence as Chief Engineer Andrew Chapman gave a presentation on the design and installation of ground improvement to support large engineered fills. Also, Lyle Simonton served as the conference moderator and Subsurface supported the conference as an exhibitor. We’re at the 57th KU Geotechnical Conference exhibiting and sponsoring today. Hope to see you there. #geotechnicalengineering #groundimprovement #asce
