List objective indicators you could measure in candidates during hiring, such as case study performance or behavioral assessments that reveal these traits. Action 2️⃣: Review your last 5 hires and calculate what predicted their success or failure, including the real cost of your most recent mis-hire. Identify exactly where bias enters your process (resume screening, unstructured interviews, or over-reliance on referral networks) so you know what to fix first. Action 3️⃣: Create a scoring rubric for one critical role using insights from Action 1, then pilot one objective assessment like a work sample test or structured case study.
