Last week Aptive teammates met with our new clients at the The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) in Danville, Virginia, to kick off our work supporting the Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM) program. We toured the IALR campus and training center — thus the golf carts — and spent time aligning on recruitment marketing goals for the year ahead. Big thanks to IALR's Allison and Savannah for spending the day with us. We’re excited to help advance ATDM’s mission and support the next generation of defense manufacturing talent.

This month's staff spotlight is Elizabeth Gonzales, PMP, a D.C.-based program manager. From leading stakeholder engagement at the National Science Foundation to driving national standardization efforts with the VA’s electronic health record modernization initiative, Liz “loves navigating complex, thorny health care implementation projects” and swears by a handwritten to-do list. What does Liz like most about working at Aptive? “The people I get to work with! Everyone shows up ready to problem-solve and deliver results, and that culture of teamwork and accountability has really helped me grow and be successful in my role.”

New Publication Alert: We are proud to share “Veteran Characteristics Associated With Risk of 30-Day Inpatient Mental Health (IMH) Readmissions,” published this week in Psychiatric Quarterly. Conducted as part of our independent evaluation work for the Department of Veterans Affairs under the Clay Hunt SAV Act, this study sheds light on the factors linked to readmission risk for Veterans receiving inpatient mental health treatment. These insights help strengthen care coordination, reduce rehospitalization and improve outcomes for those who served. 🔗 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/gxihCs_d Michelle Winkler, PhD, MPH | Alex Duman, PhD | Suja S Rajan
