The Pasadena Conservatory of Music — our second collaboration with the amazing teams at PCM and Architectural Resources Group. As part of Phase 2 of the campus Master Plan, this project introduces the Conservatory’s first-ever purpose-built teaching and performance spaces, including a beautiful new outdoor performance venue. It’s been 11 years since our first project with PCM, and it was just as rewarding the second time around. Every educational institution deserves its own inspiring gathering and performance space. We are proud to have partnered with Marymount New York and COOKFOX Architects to deliver the theater at the school’s new building — a vertical campus in the heart of the Upper East Side. Apeiro Design led the theater planning and systems design, including theatrical rigging, AV and lighting, to support Marymount dynamic performing arts program. Integrating the 300-seat proscenium theater, an elegant, safe, educational facility, into a high-rise academic building was a challenge that we fully embraced.
