# PHP Extensions (modules)

The tools that are built by this SDK can be used to compile any standalone PHP extensions on Windows.
The following example is running within a ConEmu task with the following settings:

`C:\php-sdk\phpsdk-vc15-x64.bat -cur_console:d:C:\php-sdk\phpbuild\vc15\x64\php-src`

```
php-sdk $ php phpbuild\vc15\x64\php-src\ext\ext_skel.php --ext foo --author bar --dir c:\foo --std
Creating CREDITS... done
Success.
$ cd c:\foo
foo$ c:\php\SDK\phpize
foo$ configure --enabe-foo
foo$ nmake
foo$ nmake test
foo$ nmake run
"C:\php\php.exe" -n -d extension=C:\foo\x64\Release_TS\\php_foo.dll
<?php
foo_test1();
^Z[enter]
The extension foo is loaded and working!
```

on Linux, you can theck this [php-bonjour](https://github.com/vjardin/php-bonjour) tutorial.
