Why not join me to see how on earth this links to quality? (open to men and women - we're an inclusive association!). Link to join on the Community Hub. Carl

Congratulations once again Brian Meagher!
📌 Last week Biologit attended the Research Quality Association (RQA) 2025 International QA Conference in Belfast. What a fantastic few days! 🎉 Congratulations to our Pharmacovigilance and Quality Assurance Specialist, Brian Meagher, on winning the poster competition with his poster "Quality Oversight of Global and Local Literature Screening." His work, highlighting the importance of quality oversight in both global and local literature monitoring, supported by automation and AI, resonated strongly with attendees. We thoroughly enjoyed connecting with Quality Assurance professionals from across the industry and engaging in meaningful conversations. The key conversations that stood out: 🔹 People over Perfection: Why people don't follow procedures. 🔹 Do We Really Need to Validate an eSignature tool Used by Half the Industry? (This focused on the importance of validation of systems.) 🔹 Human error or system failure: Rethinking Root cause analysis. Thank you to the RQA team for organising such a valuable event. Already looking forward to next year. What's next for your PV strategy after the RQA 2025 International QA Conference? Let us know in the comments. 💬 #RQA2025 #QualityAssurance #Pharmacovigilance #DrugSafety #LiteratureMonitoring #AIinPV #PVLeaders #Biologit

🇲🇽 Last Wednesday’s #RQA2025 Dinner Dance was truly one to remember! A stunning Día de los Muertos-themed celebration filled with colour, connection and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of music, laughter and togetherness. It was the perfect way to honour the spirit of reflection and renewal that runs through both the conference theme and our RQA community. Here’s a look back at a night!

3 days, 3 awesome Scilifers! Considerably more than 3 discussions with QA professionals from across the life sciences industry. 😉 After a solid shift from the team at booth 20, Christopher Hayden, Laura Bugbee and David Pérez Hernández packed up and headed home from Research Quality Association (RQA) 2025. The conference is one of the biggest QA events of the year and presented an excellent opportunity for the team to speak with customers, potential clients and key thought leaders in the industry. Not only that, but we were giving out some exclusive Scilife merch, which we were quietly confident was one of the best at the event. This year’s edition also included a “Día de los muertos” themed social event, which the team reported to be quite the spectacle! Missed us in Belfast? Drop one of the team a message and we’d be delighted to assist. Now, rest and recovery time until we head out to MEDICA - Leading International Trade Fair 2025 next week!

The rain of Belfast did not dampen our spirits! We had a fantastic few days at the Research Quality Association (RQA) International QA Conference, with attendees from across Europe and the world. Fruitful discussions on the practical application of ICH E6 R3, EU GCP and PV inspection programmes and how best to engage on an inspection. It is heartening to see that industry are really thinking about how to apply R3. Special thanks to Rebecca ⚕ Stanbrook, B.Pharm MRPharmS, FFRPS, Dip RQA, FRQA and Andy Fisher of the ICH E6 R3 Expert Working Group, and my EMA Inspection Office and GCP IWG co-chair colleague Thania Spathopoulou for presenting with me. #GCP #Fitforpurpose #Inspections

Note from the Conference Manager: As this year’s conference ends, I wanted to make sure that I make sure that I put on record my thanks to the office team for their work on gluing together another huge event. This one has been the most challenging for us yet - unexpected circumstances means we only had 5 people on site for over 450 delegates, speakers and exhibitors. While the conference is nothing without all of the above, it wouldn’t exist without the blood, sweat and tears (literally) of office staff. I’m so proud of you all - we did it again…. I also want to recognise the massive contribution of our programme committee (Paul Davidson, Anjo den Decker, RQAP-GCP, Coree Forman, Dr Hanna Preus MBA, FRQA, MICR, Dagmar Goertz, Louise Mawer and Caroline McCredie) - some parts of the process were challenging but we’ve all learned for next year.
