Salaries across the Company Secretarial profession are increasingly inconsistent - and the market is asking for clarity. After speaking with CoSec professionals at all levels in recent months, Sam Perry, Head of our Company and Corporate Secretarial sector, has heard a consistent theme: packages, progression, and expectations feel “all over the place.” To bring transparency to the market, we’re creating the first dedicated UK Company Secretarial Salary Guide from Pure Search. To ensure this guide accurately reflects the profession, we’re running a short, anonymous survey to benchmark salary, benefits, diversity, and career sentiment across the CoSec community. If you’re a Company Secretary - at any level, in-house or interim - your input will directly shape a data-led, reliable resource for the whole profession. Complete the survey here: https://lnkd.in/eQWaKy6K Thank you in advance for helping us build clearer, more consistent benchmarking for the CoSec community.

  • From a missing passport to a room full of global industry professionals, the recent TEI Conference was a memorable one for Ewen Burns and Holly Hatton. As part of the EMEA Chapter’s 25th anniversary celebrations, they were invited to present on the critical skills shaping the future workforce - a topic that impacts us all. Great to see their expertise showcased on such an important stage, and delighted they returned home with both new connections and all the right documentation.

I've had the privilege of being part of many TEI conferences over the years, but none more so than last week in Lausanne, when the EMEA Chapter celebrated it's 25th anniversary. Thanks again to Gaia Fraschetti for inviting myself and Holly Hatton to present on trends shaping the skills for the future, and to all those attending for making it such an interesting debate. After an eventful start to our trip with a mislaid passport(!) thankfully everything else ran like Swiss clockwork! Special mention to past and present presidents for everything achieved through the Tax Executives Institute over the years: Fabio De Angelis, Dr. Lluís M. Fargas Mas, Bo Iversen, Clive Baxter, Nick Hasenoehrl, Anna Theeuwes, Ralf Thelosen, Christer Tønder Bell, Gaia Fraschetti, Sarah Williams
