Renault Group and Geely have completed agreements to extend their strategic cooperation to the production and sales of zero and low-emission vehicles by Renault do Brasil for the Renault and Geely Auto brands in Brazil. As part of these agreements, Geely formally acquires a 26.4% stake in Renault do Brasil, granting access to Renault do Brasil’s industrial and commercial resources, and allowing it to accelerate its expansion in the region’s leading automotive market. By producing Geely auto branded vehicles alongside Renault vehicles at the Ayrton Senna plant in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, Renault do Brasil will be able to increase production and further sharpen the competitiveness of this cutting-edge industrial complex. Eric Li, Chairman of Geely Holding Group, said: “Our continued cooperation with Renault in exploring new markets and new opportunities will make for a win-win scenario as both Renault and Geely are able to leverage technology scales on a global level to bring the best products to market.” Previously, Renault Group and Geely have established multiple global cooperation projects including joint investment into Renault Korea and the creation of Horse Powertrain. https://lnkd.in/gM6Zfjzm

This week Geely Holding announced that aggregate sales across its portfolio brands grew to over 2.95 million units at the end of Q3 2025. Sales of electrified vehicle exceeded 1.5 million, a year on year increase of 68% and representing 54% of total sales. Q3 2025 also marked a milestone for the Group as the first time its portfolio brand sales have exceeded 1 million units in a single quarter. Geely added 11 satellites to its Future Mobility Constellation with first rocket launch from sea. The weekend, the fourth launch with 11 satellites for the Geely Future Mobility Constellation was successfully completed. All 11 satellites have now entered their planned low-earth orbits and are functioning normally. This latest launch on the Smart Dragon-3 rocket from a converted ship off the coast near Rizhao, Shandong Province, China was the first time Geely has launched its satellites from sea. Geely’s next two launches are also planned to take place at sea bringing to total number of satellites deployed to 64. The first phase of the Geely Future Mobility Constellation with 72 satellites deployed is planned to be completed by the end of 2025. Low-orbit satellite communications have quickly become integral to intelligent connected vehicles, by leveraging the Geely Future Mobility Constellation, GEESPACE has established partnerships with telecom operators in over 20 countries across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. As a key component of Geely Holding’s integrated ground-space smart mobility ecosystem, GeeSpace will also leverage satellite IoT communications and high-precision positioning technologies to provide satellite data support for intelligent driving and intelligent connectivity functions, comprehensively enhancing vehicle safety and user experience. https://lnkd.in/gX_RdGie
