📢 Updated SBTi Net‑Zero Draft: Join the Consultation! The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has recently published its revised draft of the Corporate Net‑Zero Standard. The update aims to make setting Net‑Zero targets clearer, more practical, and scalable across sectors and regions while staying aligned with global climate goals. Key elements include: > Linking short‑term action with long‑term climate goals through transition plans; > Separate target setting for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions; > Context‑based prioritization of the most effective reductions; > Incentives for voluntary measures to address residual emissions; > Transparency and progress tracking as drivers toward Net‑Zero. With big smiles, we look back on an inspiring summit at AFAS Theater Leusden, where countless Leaders of Progress came together to celebrate 25 years of United Nations Global Compact. Today, we are hosting our joint closing session of our 2025 Peer Learning Groups focussed on #Climate, #DEI, and #HumanRights at PLNT Leiden. Over the past months, each peer learning group has met regularly to dive deep into their topic, learn from experts, share their practices, and tackle challenges unique to their focus area. After this eight month journey, all three groups are coming together today to reflect and tackle a final challenge together: developing a short, practical action plan to strengthen stakeholder engagement and create shared value across all three peer learning themes for a case-study.
