When is it allowed to post AI generated content on a tag wiki page?

For example the tag has no wiki.

Can I simply copy text from Gemini to the tag wiki page?

If that is allowed, then do I need to provide attribution, as mentioned in How do I write a good tag wiki? Is it okay to use/copy content published elsewhere??

The policy says "All use of generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT1 and other LLMs) is banned when posting content on Stack Overflow." It seems to apply here. Gemini is an LLM and you want to post content on SO. Commented yesterday

Putting the policy aside, if you think the above text is a good fit for tag wiki, you may have a misconception about what should be included in tag wikis. Maybe some currently existing inappropriate tag wikis have exacerbated the issue. Commented yesterday

“Can I simply copy text from Gemini to the tag wiki page?” - No; If you submit any LLM content it will be reported to a moderator, the content will be deleted, and if you continue to contribute content generated by a LLM your ability to do so will be suspended. Please respect the communities wishes not to have contributions generated by LLM. Unfortunately, I have a feeling, that’s exactly what has been happening Commented yesterday

No, this is not allowed. The generative AI policy clearly states:

All use of generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT1 and other LLMs) is banned when posting content on Stack Overflow.

This applies to the whole site, and tag wikis are part of the site, so no, do not post AI-generated content anywhere in the site, as you would be violating site policy.
