🎉Celebramos com muito orgulho um marco histórico na indústria offshore no Brasil: os 15 anos de produção comercial do primeiro FPSO do pré-sal! 🚢🌊 Em outubro de 2010, o FPSO Cidade de Angra dos Reis MV22 entrou em operação no campo de Tupi, na Bacia de Santos – atualmente o maior campo produtor do Brasil. ✨ 🥇Ao longo dos últimos 15 anos, o FPSO consolidou o seu papel estratégico para o pré-sal, sendo responsável por cerca de 10% do volume total produzido nesse campo, totalizando uma produção de mais de 326 milhões de barris de petróleo e mais de 14 bilhões de metros cúbicos de gás natural. 🤩 E a unidade foi muito além da produção: formou pessoas, testou soluções e consolidou aprendizados que se tornaram referência para a indústria e para a nova geração de unidades da MODEC. 🎉We are proud to announce that the FPSO Bacalhau has achieved First Oil production as of October 15th, marking a significant milestone for MODEC and our client. This is MODEC’s first project with Equinor in Brazil’s pre-salt region, and one of the largest FPSOs ever delivered to the country. 🚢🌊 Deployed at the Bacalhau field in the Santos Basin, the FPSO is designed to produce up to 220,000 barrels of crude oil per day and features MODEC’s innovative M350 Hull, offering enhanced capacity and longer service life. FPSO Bacalhau is the 17th FPSO/FSO vessel delivered by MODEC to Brazil and the 9th FPSO in the pre-salt region. 🫱🏼🫲🏼Congratulations to everyone involved in reaching this important milestone.
